This year, Cadbury has teamed up with BBC Children in Need to make a sweet difference — pledging a generous £150,000 donation to this year’s appeal. The partnership highlights both brands’ shared commitment to helping every child thrive, no matter where they live.
Supporting Over 1,400 Projects Nationwide
BBC Children in Need funds more than 1,400 community projects across the UK, ensuring that every child has someone they can turn to in times of need. From creative workshops to mental health support, these initiatives empower young people to build confidence, resilience and brighter futures.
Ian Wright Champions the Cause
Drawing from his own experiences, Cadbury Ambassador Ian Wright recently visited a sporting social enterprise for young people in southwest London. There, he saw firsthand the incredible impact project workers have in providing safe, creative spaces where young people can express themselves and grow.
Wright’s visit highlighted the transformative effect of community-led initiatives and underscored why continued support is vital for young people facing everyday challenges.
Limited-Edition Cadbury Packs Featuring Pudsey Bear
To celebrate the partnership, Cadbury is launching special-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons (100g) and Cadbury Dairy Milk Nibbles (100g) share bags, each featuring the iconic Pudsey Bear. The limited-edition range will be available nationwide from September, with an RRP of £2.66 at all major retailers.
Katie Cady, Brand Manager at Mondelez International, said:
“Generosity has always been at the heart of Cadbury, which is why we’re so proud to partner with BBC Children in Need. We believe there’s a glass and a half in everyone, and when you give a little kindness, it can make a big difference.”
Claire Hoyle, Chief Campaigns & Engagement Officer at BBC Children in Need, added:
“We are incredibly grateful for Cadbury’s generous support and for the powerful voice Ian Wright brings to this cause. This partnership will help us continue supporting the project workers who make life-changing differences for young people.”
A Shared Mission of Generosity
Through this collaboration, Cadbury and BBC Children in Need aim to remind the nation that small acts of generosity can lead to big change — one bar, one share bag, and one child at a time.
