With spooky season approaching quickly, Bamboo Mat Stratford has launched their new Halloween menu full of mouth-watering Japanese-Peruvian delights to tickle your tastebuds, so bring a date or some mates and try out some of their hauntingly unique treats, running Friday 25th – Thursday 31stOctober.
Kick off your visit with classic autumnal flavours, and try out some crispy, sweet and rich Pumpkin Tempura with shichimi togarashi, truffle oil and lime. Next, you’ll be able to try some Nikkei Pumpkin Maki, with cream cheese, salmon, pumpkin, ceviche chilli sauce and mixed cress. If you’re feeling bold, the Beef Heart Skewers might be for you. With a lean, gamey taste from the beef hearts, complemented by anticucho sauce, pickled mushrooms and chives, it’s certainly got some frightfully good flavours.
For dessert, try Bamboo Mat’s pumpkin-shaped Chocolate Mousse – which is sure to be all over Instagram this October!
Wash it all down with a choice of two autumnal drinks: the Pumpkin Spritz, with pumpkin syrup, prosecco, mint and soda water, or the Halloween Surprise with gin, gomme, lime and merlot.
Bamboo Mat’s standard a la carte menu will also be available, so while you’re visiting, you may as well try out the fan-favourites: Chicken Teriyaki, Ox Cheek with yuzu potato puree, Mango Maki with avocado, and their signature Seabass Ceviche, with passion fruit and mango tiger’s milk, sweet potato, red onion and cancha corn.
