HP’s AI-Enabled Tools Are Quietly Transforming Daily Work

HP has placed artificial intelligence at the core of its latest innovations, and its continued investment in AI is now delivering results that go beyond productivity. Newly commissioned research with YouGov has uncovered the deeper impact AI is having on improving how people feel at work – from reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing to helping people reconnect with purpose – painting a clearer picture of AI as the core tool for the present and the future of technology.

HP’s approach has been rooted in practicality, using AI to tackle repetitive, time-consuming tasks like summarising documents, writing emails, and managing admin. These are the kinds of tasks that can quietly drain time and energy, without necessarily contributing meaningfully to core professional roles. With AI stepping in as an invisible assistant, background noise of modern work is streamlined, without demanding tech fluency from the user.

And the results are tangible. According to the HP and YouGov study, 72% of AI users in the UK say the technology is saving them time every week, with 1 in 10 saving over five hours. One-third report reduced workplace stress, while 38% say their work-life balance has improved – a meaningful shift in a post-pandemic landscape where burnout and digital fatigue are top of mind. Perhaps most significantly, nearly a quarter of respondents (23%) feel more fulfilled in their roles, suggesting that when AI takes care of the heavy lifting, people are freer to focus on work that actually matters to them.

These benefits are being delivered by a new generation of devices: AI PCs. Unlike browser-based tools or separate platforms, AI PCs have built-in, secure capabilities that work offline and out of the box. There’s no complicated setup or specialised training – which matters, since 55% of users reported receiving no formal training in AI at all. This frictionless model is helping to increase adoption across sectors, from finance to construction, where time-consuming admin is a universal challenge.

HP’s reputation as a leader in personal computing and workplace solutions is longstanding, but its early and thoughtful integration of AI cements its position at the forefront of this next phase. The company continues to prioritise user-first design, privacy and sustainability, and now with AI seamlessly built into its ecosystem, HP is delivering tools that support not just productivity, but a better experience of work itself.
