Formula 1 sponsorship news: British racing giants Williams have announced a new partnership with Spanish brewing powerhouse Estrella Galicia 0,0, marking a significant collaboration as the team embarks on a new era under fresh regulations.
The agreement unites two industry leaders: Williams, one of the most decorated teams in Formula 1 history with seven World Drivers’ Championships and nine World Constructors’ Championships, and Estrella Galicia 0,0, a globally recognised non-alcoholic beer brand known for its long-standing support of innovation and craftsmanship within motorsport.
Estrella Galicia 0,0 Becomes Williams’ Official Beer Partner
From the opening European races of the season, Estrella Galicia 0,0 will be served in the Williams motorhome, becoming the team’s drink of choice as it continues its journey back towards the front of the grid. The collaboration also offers Formula 1 fans worldwide the opportunity to discover the premium Spanish 0.0% beer brand trackside.
Brand visibility will extend beyond hospitality. Estrella Galicia 0,0 branding will feature prominently on the halo and rear wing endplate of the FW48 — Williams’ challenger built for Formula 1’s new technical regulations. The branding will debut during pre-season testing in Bahrain and remain throughout the campaign.
Fans can also expect to see the brand on both drivers’ helmets and race suits, including special placement on Carlos Sainz’s helmet. The addition highlights parent company Corporación Hijos de Rivera’s continued commitment to supporting Spanish talent within Formula 1.
A New Era for Williams in Formula 1
Williams Team Principal James Vowles welcomed the partnership during what promises to be a transformative season.
“With an all-new car, new regulations, and a new race in Madrid, there’ll be plenty for Atlassian Williams F1 Team to celebrate with Estrella Galicia 0,0 this season. It is great to have them join Williams and cheer us on in this exciting moment for both the team and the sport.”
The upcoming season represents a pivotal chapter for the Grove-based team, founded in 1977 by Sir Frank Williams and Sir Patrick Head. With 114 Grand Prix victories, Williams remains one of Formula 1’s three most successful teams in history. Now competing as Atlassian Williams Racing, the team continues to invest heavily in engineering excellence and long-term competitiveness.

Estrella Galicia 0,0 Strengthens Its Motorsport Legacy
For Estrella Galicia 0,0 and its parent company Corporación Hijos de Rivera, the deal represents more than sponsorship.
Ignacio Rivera, Executive Chairman of Corporación Hijos de Rivera, described the collaboration as a natural progression in the brand’s motorsport journey:
“The partnership with Atlassian Williams F1 Team represents a natural step in our journey within motorsport. It goes far beyond a partnership agreement; it is the coming together of two organisations that share the same understanding of competition, rooted in respect for history, a passion for innovation and the ambition to continue growing through authenticity.”
Founded over 120 years ago, Corporación Hijos de Rivera remains 100% family-owned and operates in more than 75 countries. Its diverse portfolio includes brands such as Estrella Galicia, 1906, Cabreiroá, Fontarel, Agua de Cuevas, Ponte de Boga and Maeloc.

Formula 1’s Growing Commercial Landscape
This partnership reflects Formula 1’s expanding global commercial appeal, particularly across European markets. With a new race planned in Madrid and continued regulatory evolution aimed at increasing competitiveness, the sport is entering one of its most commercially dynamic periods.
As Williams pushes forward with its ambitious rebuild, the backing of Estrella Galicia 0,0 signals confidence not only in the team’s trajectory but also in the enduring global power of Formula 1.
