Women’s sport is less popular than men’s. There are millions of reasons why that’s about to change.
Gym+Coffee are introducing their brand new Make Life Richer Collective and announce their seven female ambassadors from the world of football and cricket.
Professional athletes Jodie Taylor, Rachel Corsie, Carla Humphrey, Sandy Maclver, Danni Wyatt, Sophia Dunkley and Tammy Beaumont have all joined forces with the Athleisure brand to promote their passion for the #MakeLifeRicher movement.
All seven trailblazers have achieved incredible feats on the pitch and want to share their journey to the top, including the challenges they faced as female athletes in the professional game. They have become an inspiration to the younger generation and champion the fact that everyone has a place in sport.
San Diego Wave striker Jodie Taylor said:
“I’m super excited to be part of the Make Life Richer Ambassador Collective. I love the brand and what they stand for so I can’t wait to change the game off the pitch with Gym+Coffee and these other incredible women by my side. We share a journey of such highs and lows that it makes that feeling of winning games so much better.”
Meanwhile, England cricketer Sophia Dunkley explained: “We are now role models for loads of young girls and it is really lovely to see so I am excited to be part of the Make Life Richer Ambassador Collective.
“Having become the first black woman to play Test cricket for England, I can’t wait to continue to push boundaries with the support of Gym+Coffee.”
