PIXIE GELDOF FRONTS BOLD NEW DROP THAT SHOWCASES THE BEAUTY OF WASTE AND FASHION

This summer, Pixie Geldof is the face of a new capsule collection from Discarded Spirits Co. and vintage boutique favourite Chillie London – a collaboration that champions creativity, wearability, and nineties style.

The drop features custom-printed ’90s deadstock heavyweight tees, deadstock boxer-style shorts in classic black and white, and pared-back leather pouches – giving new life to old stock.

With reversible tees designed to create multiple looks, each t-shirt arrives with a complimentary Discarded x Chillie leather pouch, crafted entirely from surplus materials – a nod to the art of repurposing with intention.

A long-time advocate for conscious creativity and cultural change, Pixie Geldof is the face of the collection. Her effortless style and commitment to sustainability make her the perfect ambassador for a collaboration rooted in quiet rebellion.

I’m so thrilled to work with Chillie London and Discarded on this collaboration. I love how Discarded has taken something often overlooked and turned it into something truly delicious with their Banana Peel Rum. Then there’s Chillie creating new fashion out of forgotten pieces – giving them a second life so they don’t end up in a landfill. It’s a wonderful celebration of the joy of upcycling.”

“Pixie brings a sense of purpose and personality to the campaign that cuts through,” explained Sam Trevethyen, Global Brand Ambassador for Discarded Spirits Co. “Her energy, connection to London, and creative voice make this feel like more than just fashion – it’s a statement. Chillie London is the perfect partner to make something beautiful from waste.”

Lydia McNeill, Co-Founder of Chillie London, added: “We’re huge fans of Discarded Spirits, so partnering with them has felt like such a natural fit. After our recent ‘Stitch and Sip’ event co-hosted with the brand, it’s exciting to continue that energy with the launch of this collection. It’s all about reimagining what others throw away and turning it into something you’ll want to wear every day. Pixie lives and breathes conscious creativity, she makes sustainability look effortless, and that’s exactly the energy we wanted for this campaign.”

Discarded by Design: Three Editorial Styling Tips from Chillie Co-Founder & Celebrity Stylist Natalie Hartley

Just like Discarded Spirits Co. crafts exceptional drinks from what others overlook, this capsule thrives on reinvention. Each look starts with the same elemental pieces, like pouring from a bottle of base spirit, but with the right twist, becomes something entirely new. Style, like cocktails, is about intention and experimentation.

Here are three fashion-forward ways to wear the capsule, as styled by Natalie Hartley, with an eye toward bold expression and ’90s nostalgic rebellion.

*How to Style the Discarded x Chillie London Collection:

LOOK 1: Vintage Rebellion Meets Urban Edge

Base: White or black boxers

Start with the simplicity of the boxer short, either colourway works and build from there. Use the collection’s red and black as anchor points: add a vintage red leather jacket for a punch of energy and ground it with worn-in black biker boots. This is a high-low mix that feels intentionally unfinished, popping with contrast. It’s off-duty model meets east London punk – cool without trying but unmistakably styled.

Hartley Tip: “The red tones energise the look – it’s a nod to something rebellious. The boxers give it that unexpected twist that keeps it street and not costume.”

LOOK 2: Boxer Chic with a Hint of Rebellion

Base: White or black boxers and t-shirt

Reimagine shirting by taking the oversized tee and either tucking it into the waistband or tying it at the waist – front or back depending on your mood. Then, elevate with a silk scarf styled as a bandana around the head. Go red or black to echo the capsule’s colour story. The overall effect is relaxed yet razor-sharp: part Parisian skater, part ’90s beach movie revival. Reverse the tee to refresh the look.

Hartley Tip: “It’s about freedom. The scarf makes it playful, almost cinematic. You’re creating movement and story with the same few pieces.”

LOOK 3: Androgyny with a Dandy Lean

Base: White or black boxers

Now take the scarf and flip the narrative. Tie it around the neck like a loose cravat. Add white socks and chunky loafers or a pair of lace-up vintage sneakers to steer the look into dandy-meets-sport. The boxers feel tailored, the tee feels intentional, and the whole thing becomes a play on a uniform.

Hartley Tip: “This is genderless styling at its best. You’re riffing on prep, on polish, but with softness and swagger. It’s endlessly remixable.”

In a world where everything old becomes new again, the Discarded capsule offers a blank canvas – two effortlessly cool essentials: the classic tee and tailored boxer short, in crisp black and white. Designed with versatility at its core, this collection encourages playful styling and self-expression. The t-shirt is fully reversible, offering more ways to wear, twist, and reinterpret – it’s a subtle detail that expands the styling possibilities and invites multiple outfit changes with minimal effort. These are foundation pieces and are endlessly reworkable.

Proceeds from capsule collection sales will go towards The Felix Project, helping to tackle food waste and food poverty across London – a natural extension of both brands’ mission to reimagine resources and drive real-world impact.

The Discarded x Chillie London Capsule Collection is now available online and in-store at www.chillielondon.com and Chillie London’s Portobello Road boutique.
