Thai Square has launched a new pre-theatre menu across selected locations, designed for diners heading to evening performances looking to enjoy a taste of the restaurant’s signature flavours and classic dishes. Available at Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, The Strand, and Windsor, guests will be able to enjoy a selection of vibrant dishes packed with fresh ingredients and the warmth of Thai cooking daily until 6.30pm, excluding Bank Holidays and Valentine’s Day.
The menu highlights include dishes such as the rich coconut milk-based Chicken or Tofu Green Curry with aubergines, bamboo shoots and sweet basil, the Beef Panang Curry which serves up a creamier red curry with bell pepper and shredded lime leaves, and the Tamarind Duck, pairing roasted duck with three-flavoured tamarind sauce, grilled pineapple and dried chilli.
Starters include mixed platters featuring vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, butterfly prawns, Thai dumplings and corn cakes.
Other mains include the popular Chicken or Tofu Basil Leaves with fresh chillies, garlic, onion, and long beans, and the Chicken or Tofu Cashew Nuts, tossed in oyster sauce with roasted chillies and vegetables. The Volcano Fish features battered tilapia in a sweet and spicy sauce, while Prawns Love Scallops combines baby corn, sugar snap peas and carrot in a seasoned oyster and soy sauce. The meal ends with a light and refreshing dessert, with a choice of coconut ice cream or mango sorbet.
