New Era explores different eras of iconic campus varsity style with its latest spring 2024 collection. Featuring classic sport style staples such as basketball jerseys, varsity jackets, hoodies and graphic t-shirts, each piece of apparel is complimented by a mix of stand out and archive-inspired headwear.
A tonal collection of headwear silhouettes crowns the collection in a vintage colour palette of gold, burnt orange, and sand. Starting with New Era’s signature fitted 59FIFTY style, a vintage ‘NE’ logo is featured front and centre with an applique on the right-hand side calling out the brand’s recent centennial year celebrations. As with all New Era headwear, the iconic NE flag logo is featured on the left-hand side in tonal embroidery. Continuing the heritage theme, an iconic snapback Trucker in all-black with contrasting gold stitching explores the latter half of the 20th Century with an archive cursive New Era logo to the front. Completing the headwear offering, an adjustable 9FORTY curved visor in sand brings the heritage theme into 2023 with an added premium leather applique to the front which features logos from years gone by.
Reminiscent of warmer sideline style, the heritage varsity jacket sets the tone of the apparel collection with the New Era initials ‘NE’ adorned on the left breast of the jacket in yellow on top of a navy-blue main body. The number 20 is embroidered on the right sleeve of the jacket as a shout-out to the company’s founding year. Continuing the golden age of baseball theme is the script logo oversized hoodie which features the same ‘NE’ initials on the left chest area in contrasting bright gold raised stitching.
Next up in the collection is an oversized open-hole mesh cool blue tank top with a nostalgic 90s basketball jersey-inspired look. The tank features a ‘NEW ERA’ arched graphic applique on the chest area above the number 20 which is also complimented with a pair of matching basketball shorts.
Rounding off the collection, two graphic tees in burnt orange and off-white complete the offering with both featuring a New Era graphic print on the chest. The front graphic includes a variety of new and old New Era logos with vintage script throughout. Further text calls out the brand’s birthplace of Buffalo, New York, and its founding year- 1920.
