FUJIFILM Europe GmbH, Imaging Solutions Division, announces the latest addition to its popular series of Link smartphone printers: the instax mini Link 3 instant photo printer.
The instax mini Link 3 is designed to transform everyday moments into vibrant, colourful instax mini photos. This innovative update to the instax mini Link 2 printer combines cutting-edge technology with playful features, making it the perfect companion for capturing, printing and sharing life’s moments in fun and creative ways.
The printer, combined with the new instax AiR Studio, allows users to add ‘in-the-moment’ 3D AR effects effortlessly while taking shots. Simply choose a background, add decorative effects and finish with an animation. With options such as confetti, spotlights and sprinkles, there’s something for everyone to add a little creativity to their photos.
In addition, the new instant photo printer features the ultimate in-app photobooth experience thanks to its ‘Click to Collage’ mode. This allows users to capture a series of six images at three second intervals, and then choose two, four or six fun snaps to print as a collage. The printer can also print from video, as well as many other creative ways to interact playfully with friends.
The instax mini Link 3 printer comes in three on-trend colours: Sage Green, Rose Pink and Clay White. Designed with a textured, easy-to-hold finish, the instax mini Link 3 is as mobile as a smartphone, allowing the user to effortlessly print photos anywhere. The printer features three distinctive LED lights on the front, providing status updates while maintaining a sleek, stylish look. Additionally, it supports direct printing from the instax Pal digital camera and includes a USB-C port for convenient charging.
Introducing the instax mini film ‘SPRINKLES’
Launching at the same time as the instax mini Link 3 is a brand-new film: instax mini film ‘SPRINKLES’. Inspired by the new instax AiR Studio effects, the film features a colourful, eye-catching sprinkle pattern reminiscent of cake toppings, ice cream and sweets.
instax UP! Smartphone App update
Fujifilm has also announced an update to its free instax UP! App. The app is designed for instax users to digitally scan, import, organise and store their photos in one place, regardless of which Fujifilm instax instant film, camera or printer they use.
The latest addition to the instax UP! App is the introduction of ’instax Days’, a new calendar function where scanned instax photos are automatically dated and added to a calendar. This means users can easily identify photos by the date they were taken, while having the opportunity to modify dates if they wish.

Fujifilm’s instax mini Link 3 instant photo printer will be available to purchase from 28th August 2024, at a suggested retail price (SRP) of £114.99. The case is priced at £13.99 and comes in Soft Pink and Clay White.
