MCCAIN DELIVERS CRISPY FRENCH FRIES BY DRONE TO BANK HOLIDAY PICNICKERS IN LONDON

McCain took its love of fries to new heights this Bank Holiday weekend, surprising picnic-goers with drone deliveries of Crispy French Fries at Brockwell Park.

As Brits made the most of the final Bank Holiday of the summer, McCain UK found a creative way to make sure one of the nation’s favourite sharing foods could join the picnic spread.

The frozen food brand launched The Fry Drop, a one-day activation that saw tasty Crispy French Fries delivered to unsuspecting picnickers by drone at Brockwell Park in London.

A UK Fry-First Takes To The Skies

Running on Monday, August 31, from 11am until 6pm, The Fry Drop aimed to bring a new twist to the traditional Bank Holiday picnic.

The activation saw McCain’s Crispy French Fries take flight, with drone deliveries bringing the popular side dish directly to people enjoying the long weekend outdoors.

McCain’s Crispy French Fries are designed to be enjoyed as part of a meal or sharing occasion and can be cooked in both the oven and air fryer, making them a convenient option for food lovers looking for a crispy potato fix at home.

Bringing Fries To The Bank Holiday Picnic

While picnic baskets are often packed with sandwiches, snacks and sweet treats, McCain’s latest stunt put the spotlight firmly on fries as a sharing food.

The Bank Holiday activation offered a playful new take on food delivery, combining drone technology with one of Britain’s best-loved potato products.

The brand offers a wide range of frozen potato products, including chips, fries, wedges, hash browns and air fryer favourites, which can be explored through McCain’s full UK product range.
