Five Iron Golf is celebrating the opening of its first UK venue with an action-packed VIP launch party in London, bringing together virtual golf, interactive sports, food, drinks and entertainment.
London’s social and entertainment scene has a new place to play, with Five Iron Golf marking the launch of its first UK venue with a special Grand VIP Opening Party this September.
Taking place on Wednesday 9 September from 5pm to 9pm, the celebration will be held at the new Five Iron Golf venue at Broadgate Circle, 1 Finsbury Avenue, just moments from Liverpool Street Station.
The event will be hosted by comedians Tom Green and Tom Price, presenters of the popular Golf Is Ruining My Life podcast, with guests invited to experience virtual golf, interactive multi-sports games, food, drinks, competitions and entertainment.
More Than Just Virtual Golf
Five Iron Golf opened its doors in London earlier this summer and is aiming to offer something for both experienced golfers and complete beginners.
The nearly 7,000-square-foot venue features eight high-tech Trackman simulator bays, allowing players to experience virtual golf courses and interactive games in a social indoor setting.
Trackman’s technology combines camera and radar tracking to power its indoor golf experiences, with virtual courses, practice modes and interactive games designed for different levels of experience.

However, golf is only part of the experience.
Guests at the VIP launch party will also be able to take on friends in games including footgolf, zombie dodgeball, disc golf, hockey, bowling, basketball and clay pigeon shooting, alongside football challenges featuring penalties, free-kicks and target practice.
There will also be a Closest to the Pin competition, giving guests the chance to battle it out for prizes during the evening.
Food, Drinks And Live Entertainment
Alongside the games, invited guests will be treated to complimentary food and drinks while exploring the venue.
Five Iron Golf’s London location also features a full-service bar and restaurant, alongside screens showing major live sporting events, making it a potential destination for everything from after-work socials to group nights out and sporting occasions.
Eric Parker, CEO of Five Iron Golf, said the response to the company’s London debut had been encouraging.
“We’ve loved seeing golfers, first-timers, colleagues and groups of friends all embrace what Five Iron is about,” he said. “We’re building something that goes well beyond traditional golf, a place where people can play, eat, drink, compete and spend time together.”
Five Iron Golf makes Its UK Debut
Founded in New York in 2017, Five Iron Golf has expanded into an international indoor golf and entertainment brand, with locations across the United States and other global markets.
The Broadgate opening represents the company’s first UK venue, with plans to continue expanding its presence across the country.
Located at 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PF, the venue sits within Broadgate’s growing collection of restaurants, leisure spaces and entertainment destinations near Liverpool Street Station.
