The new menu, which includes the including the returning Maple & Pecan Scone, focuses on tasty breads, rich soups, and mouth-watering sweet treats, serving up a wholesome, cosy experience with every visit that celebrates the flavours of Autumn.
A celebration of comforting flavours and seasonal ingredients, there’s no shortage of options to choose from. For those craving something truly Autumnal, the new crustless Squash & Sage Slice features roasted butternut squash and spinach with a touch of warm spices, complemented by creamy feta and encased in its own light, crispy shell. Another standout is the soup selection from which a new one is featured each week – the hearty Delica Pumpkin & Farro and the satisfying Cauliflower & Jerusalem Artichoke soup are great choices for a wholesome lunch or warming snack.
On the sweeter side, GAIL’s has brought back its popular Maple & Pecan Scone, which falls somewhere between a cookie and a cake, offering a light fluffy texture with toasted nuts and glazed with Canadian maple icing. The Apple & Sesame Butter Cake is also a must-try – freshly baked throughout the day, this spiced treat features seasonally changing sliced apple from Natoora, finished with a delicious tahini sauce. Of course, for chocolate lovers, the Chocolate & Hazelnut Bun is the go-to choice – a soft brioche bin baked with hazelnut frangipane, topped with Islands chocolate Gianduja cream and chopped caramelised hazelnuts, delivering the perfect mix of sweet and nutty flavours.
