The Lost Estate, the city’s iconic immersive dining experience in West Kensington, has announced the return of its critically-acclaimed production of the A Christmas Carol in ‘The Great Christmas Feast’, set to run between 1st November and 12th January. As night falls, Charles himself guides the audience through a remarkable performance of Dickens’ timeless tale, with cinematic live music courtesy of Steffan Rees that fills his enchanting home that is the 5,000 square feet of set designed by Darling & Edge (Gingerline, Secret Cinema, Crystal Maze).

For 2024, acclaimed director Simon Pittman (Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Next To Normal Immersive) returns for his third consecutive Christmas. He is joined again by the exceptional Alex Phelps, whose standout performance last year earned rave reviews. Phelps takes on the dual role of narrator, Charles Dickens, and a host of beloved characters in this unique staging of A Christmas Carol.
The 2024 menu, crafted by Executive Chef Ashley Clarke (Gordon Ramsay Group, SmokeStak, Temper Soho), refines Victorian feasting traditions into an exceptional Christmas spread. Guests can enjoy a decadent pressed corn-fed chicken starter with pickled beets and samphire relish, followed by confit Gressingham duck breast with all the trimmings. For dessert, indulge in a rich Twelfth Night Cake paired with Christmas Pudding ice cream, with vegetarian and vegan options to be announced soon.
Of course, Charlie’s personal cellar will be also open, featuring a Victorian cocktail menu that includes the legendary Smoking Bishop and Pear Tree Cup, alongside new delights like Rumfustian and Marley & Rye.
