ESTRELLA GALICIA 0,0 NAMED TITLE SPONSOR OF MOTOGP’S LONG-AWAITED RETURN TO BRAZIL IN 2026

MotoGP is officially heading back to Brazil in 2026 — and Estrella Galicia 0,0 is leading the charge. The non-alcoholic beer brand has been confirmed as title sponsor for the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil, marking a major moment for both the championship and the Latin American motorsport scene.

Set to take place from 20–22 March 2026, Round 2 of the MotoGP season will be held at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, officially reinstating Brazil on the MotoGP calendar for the first time in more than 20 years.

A strengthened partnership with MotoGP

Already known as the Official Beer of MotoGP, Estrella Galicia 0,0 continues to deepen its relationship with the championship. In addition to sponsoring the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, the brand’s new title role in Brazil underscores its growing global presence and commitment to the sport.

Brazil will serve as MotoGP’s sole Latin American stop in 2026 — a key strategic market — and fan demand is already sky-high, with initial ticket capacity reportedly sold out.

“Our company is strongly linked to markets with a solid brewing tradition and culture, such as Brazil,” said Ignacio Rivera, Executive Chairman of Corporación Hijos de Rivera.“Becoming the main sponsor of the Brazilian Grand Prix represents a milestone in our long history in MotoGP. Brazil is a key country in our international expansion strategy, and we’re proud to be part of MotoGP’s return after more than two decades — especially alongside a local rider like Diogo Moreira.”

Diogo Moreira to headline on home soil

The 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix will carry extra significance thanks to Diogo Moreira, Estrella Galicia 0,0’s Brazilian ambassador and one of the most exciting names in modern motorcycle racing.

Moreira enters the season as Moto2 World Champion, having claimed Brazil’s first-ever Grand Prix World Championship title in 2025. Now stepping up to MotoGP with Pro Honda LCR, the Goiânia round will see him take centre stage as the home hero.

2025: A historic season for Estrella Galicia 0,0 riders

The title sponsorship follows a landmark 2025 season for Estrella Galicia 0,0-backed riders across all classes.

  • Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) completed a remarkable comeback to secure his seventh MotoGP World Championship

  • Álex Márquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) finished second, delivering a historic 1–2 in the standings

  • Diogo Moreira claimed the Moto2 crown

  • José Antonio Rueda lifted the Moto3 title

All four riders have been supported by Estrella Galicia 0,0 for over a decade, reinforcing the brand’s long-term commitment to rider development.

MotoGP welcomes a major partner to Brazil

Carmelo Ezpeleta, Chief Marketing Officer of Dorna Sports, praised the partnership:

“It’s fantastic news to welcome Estrella Galicia 0,0 as title sponsor for the Brazilian Grand Prix. They’re one of our most committed partners — supporting riders, engaging fans, and helping put on an incredible show. With Brazil already selling out its initial capacity, this sponsorship is a huge asset as we return to the country.”
