FRED AGAIN.. AND JAMIE T DROP ‘LIGHTS BURN DIMMER’ AS USB002 LONDON RESIDENCY KICKS OFF!

British producer and electronic powerhouse Fred again.. has unveiled his latest single, ‘Lights Burn Dimmer’, a highly anticipated collaboration with indie icon Jamie T — marking his third release of 2026 and continuing the momentum behind his ever-evolving USB series.

Fans can now stream ‘Lights Burn Dimmer’ via major platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, while the official music video — directed by rubberband. — is available to watch on YouTube.

A New Chapter in the USB002 Era

‘Lights Burn Dimmer’ follows January’s ‘scared’ with Young Thug and Hamdi’s remix of ‘OK OK’, both of which feed into Fred’s newly announced remix project, USB002 REMIXES. The album will feature seven reworked tracks from the expansive USB catalogue and is scheduled for release on 6 March 2026. Fans can pre-save the project now via major streaming platforms.

The remix collection expands on Fred’s boundary-blurring USB universe, which continues to blend club culture, intimate songwriting and genre-spanning collaborations.

USB002 Residency: From New York to London

At the end of January, Fred wrapped up his USB002 New York residency at East End Studios with a final weekend of shows featuring KETTAMA and BRUX on Friday, followed by Caribou and Ben UFO on Saturday.

Now, the USB002 journey lands in London with a two-week residency at Alexandra Palace. The series launched this week with an explosive opening night featuring Fred alongside Hamdi, Nia Archives and Oppidan. Special PA performances came from CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Ezra Collective, Headie One, Jamie T, Blanco and Berwyn.

With tonight’s full lineup set to be unveiled at 3pm, anticipation is running high among fans eager to witness the next evolution of Fred’s live concept.

The Ever-Evolving USB Series

Fred first launched his USB concept in 2022, crafting a living, breathing project shaped in real time through collaborations and live performances. Standout tracks have included:

  • ‘Baby Again’

  • ‘Rumble’ alongside Skrillex and Flowdan

  • ‘Jungle’

  • ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem

  • ‘stayinit’ with Lil Yachty

The first physical collection, USB001, arrived on vinyl in 2024, cementing the project’s cult following.

Last September marked the beginning of the USB002 era, with Fred announcing an ambitious plan: ten songs, ten shows, ten cities, across ten weeks. Tracks such as ‘you’re a star’ with Amyl and the Sniffers, ‘Talk of the Town’ with Sammy Virji & Reggie, and ‘Beto’s Horns’ with CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso & Ezra Collective were added along the way. The USB002 vinyl edition arrived in December and is available to purchase now.
