Naturally Fast Food brand LEON unveils a seasonal Summer Menu packed full of plant-based innovations and celebrates the overdue return of their iconic wraps from this July 1st.
That’s right, due to popular demand, The Halloumi Wrap (£4.95) and The Fish Finger Wrap (£5.45) are back on the menu again and here to stay. Fresh khobez flatbreads rolled up with grilled Cypriot halloumi, fruity LEON ketchup, baby plum tomatoes for a burst of freshness and cos lettuce for crunch. Or with crispy fish fingers, our quinoa-tartare sauce, pickles and lettuce. Perfect for a grab and go lunch as we are out and about much more again.
Joining the all-day menu is the brand new plant-based Better Than Mex Burger (£6.45). Following positive trials of this burger on LEON’s virtual delivery brand, The LOVe Shack, it sold so well they’re bringing it to all restaurants. A vegan chick’n patty is grilled and layered with smashed avocado, fiery jalapenos, smoked Gouda-style cheeze, veganaise and chilli. It’s better than… well, it’s very, very good.
LEON’s Roasted Veg + Boxes (from £5.95) are having their seasonal update, continuing to bring LEON guests the very best of Britain’s veg crop. This summer, LEON showcases in-season radish, courgette, red onion, celeriac, broccoli and cauliflower. LEON have always championed the principles of the Mediterranean diet and believe that eating more fibre-full plants is one of the best things we can do for our gut health. This roasted veg box is inspired by a recipe taken from their newest cookbook, Happy Guts, out June 24th filled with recipes to help you live better.
For breakfast, LEON also introduces the brand-new Vegan Sausage Muffin (£3.65). LEON is proudly calling it the best vegan muffin they’ve ever tried, and that’s the truth – no porkies. Find a spiced vegan sausage patty with fresh spinach and ketchup in a toasted sourdough muffin.
Gluten-free buns are now also available as an option on all breakfast dishes as well as the all-day menu.
If you need a few more carbs to fuel you through until lunchtime, LEON has also added their delicious take on Hash Browns (£1.45) on the menu, made with potato, celeriac and onion.
Finally, stay refreshed with the new Mango & Coconut Smoothie (£3.50), a Solero in cup form. Mango and banana are blended with coconut and a sprinkle of cardamom for a refreshing summer quencher. Smooth.
Always serving food that tastes good, does good and is kind to the planet, this seasonal menu update sees LEON continue offering guests much-loved dishes alongside new innovations as the brand continues to welcome back guests into its restaurants.
