The Tallyman is set to open its doors in Canary Wharf this September, and will be greeting its first 200 customers with free lobster rolls. From midday on 17th September, the first 200 visitors can claim their freebie from the Tallyman Seafood Shack, with the offer available on a first-come, first-served basis. Created by the team behind Faber, the seafood restaurant, the shack will become a permanent feature at The Tallyman, serving lobster and crab subs throughout the day.
The opening celebrations will also include a prize ballot, with 500 free drinks, complimentary platters, and entry to a free lobster sub event among the prizes, including 100 subs available to win. There are no losing tickets, and the ballot will be drawn on 1st October.
Alongside the full pub menu, the Seafood Shack will continue to serve just 200 fresh lobster and crab subs each day, before switching to oysters, caviar, and Digby English sparkling wine when they sell out. The pub opens for walk-ins on 18th September, with bookings available from 21st September.
The Tallyman brings an East End pub atmosphere to Canary Wharf, with classic pub food, British drinks, waterfront seating, and a menu centred around British and sustainable produce. Alongside the Seafood Shack, the kitchen serves Maldon oysters, small plates, fish and chips, pies, and weekly specials, while Sundays bring roasts from midday until 6pm, including sirloin, braised venison shoulder, Fosse Farm chicken, and mushroom pie. The pub also offers British wines, cask ales, and British-brewed beer, with rear dining rooms available for private groups of up to 45.
