Fortnum & Mason Unveils Wickedly Tempting Collection for Halloween

Fortnum & Mason has given its seasonal offering an extra wicked makeover, as this year’s Halloween collection lands at the Piccadilly institution. Alongside hand-finished marzipan, intricately iced biscuits, and autumnal spirits, the collection includes a headline £300 limited-edition hamper, presented in a wicker cauldron and full of delicious details for Halloween devotees to discover.

Now a fixture in Fortnum’s seasonal calendar, the collection release introduces brand new pantry staples, afternoon tea accompaniments, and elaborate gifts of indulgent treats for a limited time only. This year’s selection includes fiery condiments, smoked alcoholic beverages, intricately designed biscuits, and a chocolate sculpture that looks almost too good to eat. Here are our top highlights from this year’s collection:

The Halloween Hamper – Limited Edition (£300):

The centrepiece of the collection, this limited-edition cauldron-shaped wicker hamper measures 45cm x 50cm x 50cm, and is filled with 15 sweet and savoury treats. Inside are Pumpkin Patch Marzipan, Piccadilly Haunted House Iced Biscuits, a Haunted House White Chocolate Ghost, Milk Chocolate Butterscotch Popcorn, Hot Chilli Chef’s Honey, Smoked Chipotle & Chocolate Hot Sauce, Sriracha Chilli & Lime Mixed Nuts, Lucifer’s Olives, Fortnum’s Cheese Sables with Spicy Smoked Paprika, Lucifer’s Marmalade, tea, coffee, and more, with the impressive wicker cauldron remaining long after the contents have disappeared.

Uncommon Chocolate Toad (£38):

At 130g, this hand-moulded Belgian milk chocolate creation is as substantial as it is elaborate, offering a meticulously sculpted piece of hand-painted confectionary depicting an eerily realistic toad. Made by a classically trained sculptor in the South of England, the edible sculpture takes its inspiration from the rare and elusive toad native to the UK, and is packaged in a special gift box ready to be the perfect seasonal party present.

Pumpkin Patch Marzipan (£12.95):

The 100g box of marzipan is made up of miniature pumpkins, with every piece hand-finished and packed in Yorkshire. The detailed little shapes bring plenty of visual appeal to the confectionery, while their almond-rich sweetness makes them particularly well suited to serving with a pot of warm tea on an autumn afternoon.

Fortnum’s Smoked Apple Cider Brandy, Somerset Cider Brandy Co., 50cl (£52.50):

Made from somerset apples, the 42% ABV cider brandy is aged for three to five years before spending time in smoked oak casks in the English countryside. Its fresh, floral character is accompanied by smoky vanilla notes, giving the spirit enough complexity to drink as an after-dinner digestif or use as the base for the ideal autumnal cocktail.

Piccadilly Haunted House Iced Biscuits, 80g (£29.95):

Fortnum’s Piccadilly home forms the inspiration for these almost too-good-to-eat biscuits, which combine warming spices with intricate hand-iced designs depicting the building and its Halloween stories. It brings together some of the most popular winter flavours at Fortnum & Mason, and its reputation for delivering exceptional edible products with incredible artistry and creativity. This box is particularly well suited to Halloween gifting.
