Spring just got a flavour upgrade at Subway as the popular sandwich chain unveils its latest menu innovations: the Shawarma Spiced Chicken and Smashed Falafel. Both dishes bring bold, trending flavours to the table, alongside a brand-new Yogurt, Mint & Garlic Sauce and the return of the fan-favourite Raspberry Cheesecake Cookie.
Shawarma Spiced Chicken: A Flavorful Spring Twist
Subway’s Shawarma Spiced Chicken features succulent, oven-cooked chicken thighs marinated for at least four hours in a warming blend of cumin, coriander, turmeric, and paprika. The result is a flavour-packed option perfect for those looking to switch up their usual order. Fans can enjoy it their way – as a Footlong or 6″ Sub, in a wrap, salad, or even atop a fluffy jacket potato with Subway’s Spudway option.
Smashed Falafel: Plant-Based, Protein-Packed Goodness
After a successful trial, Smashed Falafel has been added to the menu, offering a vibrant, plant-based alternative. Made from green chickpeas and seasoned with parsley, coriander, and cumin, it’s ideal for protein seekers or anyone looking for a tasty, plant-powered option. Smashed Falafel is also available as a snack bag with six falafels and your choice of dip – perfect for lighter bites on the go.
New Yogurt, Mint & Garlic Sauce
Both the Shawarma Spiced Chicken and Smashed Falafel are complemented by Subway’s Yogurt, Mint & Garlic Sauce, which combines the fresh tang of yogurt with mint, garlic, and bursts of flavour from diced gherkins. The sauce adds a crisp, light note that elevates both new menu items.
Sweet Treats Make a Comeback
For those with a sweet tooth, the Raspberry Cheesecake Cookie is back by popular demand. Featuring white chips and raspberry-flavoured bits, it delivers the perfect creamy cheesecake flavour. Available individually, in a three-pack, or a box of twelve, it’s ideal for sharing with friends.

These new menu items will be available in Subway restaurants nationwide from Wednesday, 25th March 2026, and through third-party delivery, the Subway® App, and click & collect.
