Samsung Electronics has officially announced its latest mid-range smartphones — the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G — bringing a new wave of AI-powered features, improved cameras and long-term software support to more users worldwide.
The new Galaxy A series marks a continued push toward making artificial intelligence more accessible, with Samsung introducing enhanced “Awesome Intelligence” features designed to simplify everyday tasks and boost productivity.
AI Comes to the Galaxy A Series
Running on the latest One UI 8.5, both devices introduce a range of AI tools that aim to make daily smartphone use more intuitive.
A standout addition is Voice Transcription, which converts recordings, calls and even voicemails into text — ideal for meetings, lectures or quick note-taking. Meanwhile, AI Select allows users to quickly extract text or interact with on-screen content via a long press, while supporting drag-and-drop multitasking across apps like Samsung Notes.
Samsung is also enhancing its ecosystem with smarter assistants. An upgraded Bixby enables natural language control of device settings, while Google Gemini helps users perform more complex tasks across apps.
For search, Circle to Search — powered by Google — now supports multi-object recognition, allowing users to identify several items in an image at once.

Samsung continues to prioritise camera performance, equipping both phones with a 50MP main sensor and upgraded image processing.

AI also plays a big role in editing. Features like Object Eraser remove unwanted elements more naturally, while tools such as Best Face, Filters and Edit Suggestions help users fine-tune photos instantly.

The Galaxy A57 5G leads the lineup with upgraded CPU, GPU and NPU performance, making it better suited for multitasking, streaming and content creation.
Despite a slimmer design, it houses a 5,000mAh battery capable of lasting up to two days. Fast charging can reach around 60% in just 30 minutes, while a larger cooling system helps maintain performance during gaming or video recording.
Both devices feature a bright Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster, ensuring clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions.
Built to Last With Long-Term Support
Samsung is doubling down on longevity. The new Galaxy A devices offer up to six generations of Android and One UI updates, alongside six years of security updates — a major selling point in the mid-range market.
Security is handled by Knox Vault, a hardware-based protection system that keeps sensitive data safe. Additional features like the Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker and Private Album give users more control over their data.
Both phones are also rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, adding durability for everyday use.
