Guy Ritchie’s Lore of the Land, Bouchon Racine at The Three Compasses, and James Cochran’s new Caribbean pub The Brave have just been announced to appear at London’s Pub in the Park, adding to the already stellar lineup of gastropubs that are set to showcase the best of the London food scene at the annual festival.
This year’s festival promises a mouthwatering gathering of the capital’s finest gastropubs, with a mix of Michelin-starred establishments, award-winning chefs, and emerging talent leading the charge in modern pub dining. Alongside the newly announced additions, festivalgoers can look forward to dishes from The Butcher’s Tap & Grill, The Grazing Goat, The Tamil Prince, The Bull & Last, and Duck & Rice. The event will see top chefs – including Yotam Ottolenghi, Raymond Blanc OBE, Sabrina Ghayour, Henry Harris, and Thomas Straker – taking the stage to showcase their culinary expertise.
It’s not just about the food at Pub in the Park. The festival is also bringing an unmissable music lineup, with Friday night at Gunnersbury Park hosting Battle of Britpop, with Blur2 and Noasis going head-to-head, marking 30 years since Blur and Oasis first battled for chart supremacy. Elsewhere, Chris Moyles’ 90s Hangover DJ Set promises a nostalgia-fuelled party.
A true celebration of the Great British pub, Pub in the Park is well known as the place to be when it comes to world-class food, top-tier drinks, and live entertainment all in one festival experience. The celebration involves Fire Pit Masterclasses, chef Q&As, live demonstrations in The Miele Kitchen Studio, and a selection of the best independent food and drink producers. England’s leading winemaker, Chapel Down, returns as the festival’s sparkling wine sponsor, ensuring the drinks are as exceptional as the dishes being served.
For those looking to escape the city, Pub in the Park Marlow, Marlow being declared Britain’s “foodiest town”, also brings a jam-packed four-day festival, held from 15th to 18th May. The Marlow edition will feature returning legends like Rick Stein and Tommy Banks’ The Star Inn, plus new additions such as Ben Tish’s The Grazing Goat, Candice Brown’s The Green Man, and the viral sensation Ginger Wings. The chef lineup will see Tom Kerridge joined by culinary icons like Raymond Blanc OBE, Yotam Ottolenghi, Matt Tebbutt, and Simon Rimmer. The festival’s live music acts include an eclectic mix of pop, rock, and dance legends, from Squeeze and Dizzee Rascal to Will Young and Daniel Bedingfield, along with major artists including Jess Glynne and Billy Ocean.
For foodies and festival-lovers, this is an absolute must mark for the Spring/Summer calendar.
