OLIVIER ROUSTEING AND JOHNNIE WALKER VAULT UNITE FOR THE COUTURE BLEND LAUNCH

Last night, Johnnie Walker Vault and Olivier Rousteing celebrated the highly anticipated launch of their second collaboration — The Couture Blend and The Couture Flask — with an opulent evening at The Chancery Rosewood, London’s newest luxury destination.

Co-hosted by Rousteing and Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker, the night unfolded across two dazzling acts: an intimate omakase dinner at Tobi Masa, followed by an afterparty at the Eagle Bar. The guest list read like a who’s who of fashion, film, and royalty, featuring Lady Kitty Spencer, Jourdan Dunn, Pom Klementieff, Paul Foreman, Anson Boon, and Neelam Gill.

A Fusion of Fashion, Whisky, and Innovation

This collaboration between the world’s leading Scotch whisky brand and the Balmain Creative Director continues to blur the boundaries between haute couture and fine spirits.

The new Couture Blend — a rare, limited-edition whisky — was crafted in partnership with Dr. Emma Walker, while the Couture Flask serves as a bold, metallic fashion statement designed to hold a perfect 10ml pour. Together, they embody the spirit of fearless artistry and unapologetic luxury.

An Evening of Culinary Excellence

The night began at Tobi Masa, the soon-to-open Mayfair restaurant from acclaimed chef Masa Takayama, famed for his three-Michelin-starred Masa in New York City. Guests were treated to a multi-sensory dining experience where whisky, couture, and culinary mastery collided.

Head Sommelier Xavier Thuizat of Hôtel de Crillon designed whisky pairings that elevated the evening’s dishes, creating bold, unexpected contrasts and layers of flavour — culminating with a tasting of The Couture Blend itself.

The Afterparty: A Celebration of Culture

The celebration continued upstairs at the Eagle Bar, where cultural icons including Obongjayar and Afua Hirsch joined the festivities. Guests sipped Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktails as Honey Dijon took over the decks with a genre-defying set, supported by NTS DJs Hasani, Lagoon, and OK Williams.

“My work with Johnnie Walker Vault is about breaking boundaries — between couture and whisky, tradition and reinvention,” said Olivier Rousteing. “Tonight at The Chancery Rosewood captured that spirit perfectly — fashion, gastronomy, music and whisky all coming together.”
