London’s ultimate live-fire food festival is back. Meatopia London has unveiled the first wave of chefs set to take over Tobacco Dock from 3–6 September 2026, promising a bold celebration of flame-cooked food, sustainability, and global culinary talent.

Known for its commitment to responsibly sourced meat and cooking exclusively over wood and charcoal, the festival continues to honour the vision of founder Josh Ozersky—bringing together some of the most exciting names in food right now.

A Global Feast of Fire and Flavour

This year’s line-up brings together an eclectic mix of international chefs, each known for pushing boundaries with live-fire cooking.

Among the standout names is Jess Murphy of Michelin-starred Kai in Galway, celebrated for her zero-waste ethos and sustainability advocacy. From Bangkok, Geravich Mesaengnilverakul brings his deeply authentic Thai flavours, while Swedish fire-cooking specialist Carl Dreyer showcases his precision-led approach to wild and game cooking.

Together, these chefs represent the global spirit of Meatopia—where technique, culture, and fire collide.

UK Talent Takes Centre Stage

Homegrown talent is just as strong this year, with some of the UK’s most exciting chefs and food creatives joining the bill.

Food writer and chef Melissa Thompson will bring her signature storytelling through flavour, while barbecue favourite Man Hon Luk serves up his iconic fusion of Southern BBQ and Chinese influences.

Fans of bold Thai street food can expect big things from Luke Larsson, while pizza innovator Hannah Drye continues to redefine what live-fire pizza can be.

Meanwhile, sandwich sensations Jack Macrae and Viggo Blegvad of Mondo Sando bring their cult-favourite creations, alongside Latin American fire-cooking specialist Ana Ortiz and rising West African star Philippe Sonou.
