JOHNNIE WALKER VAULT AND OLIVIER ROUSTEING HOST STAR-STUDDED DINNER AND PARTY AT THE CHANCERY ROSEWOOD

Tonight, Johnnie Walker Vault and Olivier Rousteing toasted the launch of their second collaboration, The Couture Blend and The Couture Flask, with a glittering evening at the newly opened Chancery Rosewood, London’s most anticipated luxury destination. Co-hosted with Master Blender Dr Emma Walker, the celebration unfolded across two parts: an intimate omakase dinner at Tobi Masa followed by a party at the Eagle Bar, drawing an illustrious guestlist from the worlds of fashion, film and royalty, including Lady Kitty Spencer, Jourdan Dunn, Paul Foreman, Anson Boon, Pom Klementieff and Neelam Gill.

This second launch between the world’s number one Scotch Whisky* and the Fashion Creative Director brings together the art of couture and the art of blending, introducing The Couture Blend, a rare limited-edition whisky crafted with Dr Emma Walker, and The Couture Flask, a must have metal fashion accessory fashion accessory designed to carry a 10ml pour. Together, the pieces embody fearless artistry and innovation, echoing Rousteing’s unapologetic creative vision.

The evening began with a private dinner at Tobi Masa, the soon-to-open London restaurant from legendary Chef Masa Takayama. Bringing his acclaimed high-end Japanese cuisine to Mayfair, the restaurant presents signature dishes from his three-Michelin-starred New York establishment alongside creations designed exclusively for London. Guests enjoyed a multi-sensory gastronomic journey at the intersection of couture, whisky and culinary artistry.

The pairings were guided by Xavier Thuizat, one of the most acclaimed sommeliers in France and Europe, and Head Sommelier at Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, who has developed a radical approach that goes beyond harmony to create entirely new sensations. For this experience, he collaborated closely with Chef Masa to design a step-by-step journey where each whisky-and-dish combination revealed unexpected contrasts and layered discoveries in taste and aroma, culminating in guests savouring The Couture Blend itself.

Following dinner, the evening moved upstairs to The Chancery Rosewood’s Eagle Bar, where a wider circle of guests, including Obongjayar and Afua Hirsh joined. They celebrated with Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktails and experienced The Couture Blend, as the atmosphere came alive with DJ sets from internationally acclaimed cultural icon Honey Dijon, who delivered a powerful, genre-defying mix, and NTS DJs Hasani, Lagoon, OK Williams adding to the energy of the night.  As one of the first defining events at The Chancery Rosewood, the evening unfolded as a true convergence of whisky, couture, and culture.

“My work with Johnnie Walker Vault is about breaking boundaries, between couture and whisky, tradition and reinvention,” said Olivier Rousteing. “I am so grateful to everyone who joined us tonight at The Chancery Rosewood. The energy, the creativity, the coming together of fashion, gastronomy, music and whisky, it all perfectly mirrored the spirit of our collaboration.”

The new pieces can be discovered first-hand at the Johnnie Walker Vault Boutique, a three-week pop-up at Harrods open until 25 October 2025. The boutique invites visitors to immerse themselves in expert-led tastings, intimate masterclasses and bespoke customisation experiences, where the art of blending meets the art of couture in one visionary space.
