LEGO AND NETFLIX TEAM UP FOR KPOP DEMON HUNTERS SETS INSPIRED BY THE GLOBAL HIT MOVIE

The LEGO Group and Netflix have officially announced an exciting new collaboration, bringing the world of KPop Demon Hunters to life through LEGO® brick-building for the very first time. Based on Netflix’s record-breaking movie phenomenon, the partnership will introduce a brand-new LEGO KPop Demon Hunters product available for pre-order this spring, with additional sets scheduled to launch in 2027.

Blending pop culture, K-pop fandom and creative play, the collaboration marks a major crossover moment for fans of both LEGO and Netflix’s most-watched original movie.

LEGO Brings the KPop Demon Hunters Universe to Life

The upcoming LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set will debut this summer and is designed for builders aged 9+, offering a display-worthy build inspired by one of the film’s most beloved supernatural creatures. Designed for both play and shelf appeal, the set signals the start of a wider LEGO KPop Demon Hunters universe, which will continue to expand with new creative playsets in 2027.

Lena Dixen, SVP, Product Group, Core Businesses at the LEGO Group, said:

“We are over the (hon)moon about this new collaboration! KPop Demon Hunters and LEGO fans will finally get to combine their passions and immerse themselves in the world of KPop Demon Hunters through LEGO building. The movie has taken the entire world by storm, and we just couldn’t wait to work with Netflix on this one.”

Netflix Expands the Franchise Beyond the Screen

Netflix has continued to extend the KPop Demon Hunters universe beyond streaming, tapping into the film’s passionate global fanbase. Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix, emphasised the importance of creating experiences for fans beyond the screen.

“As KPop Demon Hunters continues to break records both on and off screen, we’re delighted to continue expanding this world IRL and partner with the LEGO Group for a brand new collection of beautifully designed and authentically-detailed sets – for the fans.”

A Cultural Phenomenon Breaking Records Worldwide

Since debuting last June, KPop Demon Hunters has surpassed 500 million views globally on Netflix, cementing its status as one of the platform’s biggest original movie successes. The film’s impact extends far beyond streaming numbers, with its music making history across the charts.

The fictional girl group HUNTR/X became the first K-pop girl group to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the film’s standout track “Golden” became the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award, further solidifying the franchise’s cultural influence.

What Is KPop Demon Hunters About?

KPop Demon Hunters follows chart-topping K-pop superstars HUNTR/X, who secretly live double lives as demon hunters when they’re not selling out stadiums. Tasked with protecting their fans from supernatural threats, the group faces its most dangerous challenge yet — a rival boy band, Saja Boys, who are demons hiding in plain sight.

The film is currently streaming exclusively on Netflix.

When Can Fans Get the LEGO Sets?

The first LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set will be available for pre-order this spring, ahead of its full summer launch. Fans can expect additional LEGO sets to arrive in 2027, expanding the universe with new characters, builds and play opportunities.
