British indie favourites Bastille and The Wombats have announced a one-off headline show at the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl on Thursday 13 August 2026, promising a night of anthemic hits and unforgettable live performances.
The South London festival date will feature headline sets from both bands, with additional support acts expected to be revealed closer to the event. Tickets go on general sale at 10AM on Friday 6 February, with local residents from postcodes SE19, SE20, and SE26 eligible for discounted tickets.
Bastille: A Decade of Cinematic Sound
Over more than ten years together, Bastille have crafted a distinctive sound and cinematic songwriting style that has connected with audiences worldwide. Following a two-year break from live performances, the band returned in autumn 2025 with their “From All Sides” UK arena tour — a celebration of their first fifteen years.
The tour spanned nine cities across the UK, with Bastille performing tracks from across their catalogue, including fan favourites, rarities, and defining moments from their career. Their return to live shows reaffirmed their status as one of Britain’s most compelling contemporary acts.
The Wombats: Indie Icons of the Late ’00s
Emerging from the late-2000s indie rock scene, The Wombats have enjoyed two decades of continuous growth and chart success. Following their 2007 debut, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, the Liverpool trio have headlined iconic venues such as The O2 and the Crystal Palace Bowl, and sold out arenas globally.
Their most recent touring cycle culminated in a headline set at Reading Festival 2024, where the band drew a crowd of young fans aged 18–24, demonstrating their enduring appeal to a new generation of indie listeners.
