GUINNESS LAUNCHES OFFICIAL KEBAB FOR SIX NATIONS AT BOX SPORTS BARS

Guinness has officially entered kebab territory — and just in time for the Six Nations.

To celebrate rugby’s biggest annual tournament, BOX Sports Bars has teamed up with the iconic Irish stout to launch the official Guinness kebab, a limited-edition menu item rolling out nationwide from 5 February.

Available at all seven BOX locations across the UK for the duration of the tournament, this is one Six Nations snack designed to turn heads — and probably start a few debates at the table.

Guinness, But Make It a Kebab

This time, Guinness isn’t just in the pint.

The limited-edition kebab features beef kofta marinated in Guinness, giving the meat a deep, rich flavour inspired by the “black stuff” itself. It’s wrapped in a handmade flatbread, drizzled with a sticky homemade Guinness chipotle glaze, and finished with fresh mint yoghurt.

In true Guinness fashion, it even comes topped with a creamy white “head”. Designed to resemble a pint of Guinness, the kebab is set to be one of the most eye-catching food launches of the 2025 Six Nations.

If you’re the kind of person who plans matchday food as seriously as line-ups, this one’s for you.

A Matchday Must for Rugby Fans

Priced from £12.95, the Guinness kebab will be available for the entire Six Nations tournament, whether you’re watching Ireland battle it out or just here for the atmosphere.

BOX is no stranger to bold menu ideas that lean into big sporting moments — making it a natural home for a Guinness-inspired kebab launch during rugby season.

Tom Mayer-Jones, Brand & Marketing Manager at BOX, said:

“Our new Guinness kebab is a playful nod to our Irish friends ahead of the Six Nations, whilst also tapping into our favourite night-out food as Brits — the kebab! We’ve brought these two things together in a way that feels true to BOX: bold, social, and designed to be enjoyed alongside big sporting moments.”

You can try the Guinness kebab at BOX Sports Bars across the UK, including:

What to Drink With It?

Naturally, BOX recommends pairing the kebab with a pint of Guinness, but it also works just as well with Guinness 0.0% or even a Baby Guinness if you’re feeling playful. Sharing is discouraged — but splitting the G is optional.
