- A naturally occurring cream layer for added texture
The milk is gently pasteurised at 68°C for five minutes, a lower temperature method that helps preserve proteins and flavour while ensuring safety. It is also non-homogenised, allowing the cream to rise naturally.
Importantly, the process is highly energy efficient, using approximately 90% less energy than conventional methods, reinforcing its environmental credentials.
Farm-First, Grass-Fed Dairy with Full Traceability
The distinctive taste of Mossgiel milk comes from its grass-fed cows, raised on a completely natural, seasonal diet free from:
- GMOs
- Chemical additives
- Synthetic supplements

Instead, natural inputs such as seaweed are used to support mineral intake, including iodine, while also contributing to herd health and resilience.
