Gymshark has announced one of the most significant milestones in its history: the launch of its first-ever gym, the Gymshark Lifting Club, set to open later this year in the vibrant Wynwood neighbourhood of Miami.
The move marks a major expansion for the globally recognised fitness and apparel brand, which has long been associated with gym culture—but has never before operated a physical training facility of its own.
A New Chapter for Gymshark
Founded in 2012 in Birmingham by Ben Francis, Gymshark has grown from a bedroom startup into one of the world’s most influential fitness brands, with a community of more than 20 million people across over 230 countries.
Built on its “We Do Gym” philosophy, the brand has become synonymous with lifting culture, performance wear, and community-driven fitness experiences.
Until 2022, Gymshark primarily sold directly through its online store. Since then, it has expanded rapidly into physical retail, opening flagship locations in London’s Regent Street, Manchester, Amsterdam, Dubai, and most recently a major US flagship in New York in December 2025.
Now, the launch of a dedicated gym signals a bold new vertical for the brand.
