Clash of Clans and WWE are teaming up once again, with Cody Rhodes calling on millions of players to help track down John Cena’s hidden in-game village.
Gaming and wrestling collide once more as Clash of Clans reunites with WWE for a brand-new crossover event featuring Cody Rhodes, John Cena and several of the biggest names in professional wrestling.
The collaboration, which runs from September 1 to September 30, 2026, transforms six WWE Superstars into iconic Clash of Clans characters while challenging players around the world to take part in a huge hunt for John Cena’s loot-filled village.
Cody Rhodes wants Clash of Clans players to find John Cena
The rivalry between Cody Rhodes and John Cena may be well known inside the WWE ring, but according to the new campaign, their competitive history also stretches into the world of mobile gaming.
Both WWE stars are long-time Clash of Clans players, with Rhodes reportedly playing the game for more than a decade. Now, the WWE Superstar has recruited millions of Clash of Clans players, alongside fellow WWE talent, to help him search for Cena’s in-game base.
From today, players taking part in their daily raids could potentially discover Cena’s village. Successful players who manage to raid the base will be able to unlock a one-time-only Cody Rhodes statue for their own village.
And considering Cena is a 17-time WWE World Champion, players probably shouldn’t expect an easy fight.
“People think this started in the ring with Cody. It didn’t,” Cena said. “It started when I out-raided him in the game and he threw me off his team. Ten years later he still needs help.”
Cena added: “This time he’s asking millions of you to take on my base. That’s fine. As I have always said – if you want some, come get some.”
Six WWE Superstars become Clash of Clans Heroes
The crossover also introduces six WWE Superstars reimagined as some of Clash of Clans’ most recognisable Hero characters.
The full line-up includes:
- Cody Rhodes as the Barbarian King
- Alexa Bliss as the Archer Queen
- The Undertaker as the Grand Warden
- IYO SKY as the Royal Champion
- Jey Uso as the Minion Prince
- Kane as the Dragon Duke
Rhodes’ search party is also receiving some heavyweight support, with WWE stars including The Undertaker and IYO SKY encouraging fans online to join the hunt for Cena.

WWE Money in the Bank comes to Clash of Clans
Players can expect more than just the hunt for Cena during the month-long event.
The crossover introduces a range of WWE-inspired in-game features, including temporary troops and a specially branded village theme inspired by WWE Money in the Bank, which is set to take place in New Orleans on October 10, 2026.
WWE Chests will also offer players a selection of rewards, including returning Action Figure Equipment, Challenge Tickets and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes Skin.
The event marks the second major collaboration between Clash of Clans and WWE, bringing together the worlds of mobile gaming and professional wrestling once again.
Clash of Clans has surpassed two billion lifetime downloads, making this latest WWE partnership a major global event for both gaming and wrestling fans.
