Miami-born taco sensation Coyo Taco is heading to East London for a one-night-only pop-up event, giving UK food fans their first ever taste of the cult Mexican street food brand before its official London opening later this year.
The hugely popular taco spot will take over Hoxton Arches on Wednesday 3 June 2026, serving up hundreds of free tacos and frozen margaritas from 6pm until 9pm — or while stocks last.

Miami’s Famous Taco Spot Lands in London
Known for its “todo es fresco” philosophy — meaning “everything fresh” — Coyo Taco has built a loyal following in the US thanks to its authentic Mexican flavours, vibrant atmosphere and strong connection to Miami’s art and music scene.
Founded in Miami’s Wynwood district by Alan Drummond, Sven Vogtland and chef Scott Linquist, the restaurant blends traditional Mexican street food with the colourful energy of Miami nightlife.
Last month, the brand confirmed plans to open its first UK location at The Broadway St James this June, with ambitions to expand nationwide with 50 locations planned across the UK.
What to Expect at the Coyo Taco Pop-Up
Guests attending the exclusive East London event can expect hand-pressed tortillas made fresh to order, live DJ sets and plenty of frozen margaritas to keep the Miami-inspired vibes flowing.
One of the standout dishes on offer will be Coyo Taco’s signature beef birria taco, featuring slow-cooked beef dipped in rich broth, topped with white onion, coriander and lime, then finished with a crispy melted cheese crust.
Vegetarian taco lovers won’t miss out either. The veggie option includes grilled cauliflower served in a rich pumpkin mole inside a cheese-crusted flour tortilla, finished with aged cheese, pickled onion and avocado.
