Celebrated Russian and Eastern European dining destination ZIMA is expanding to Notting Hill this week, marking its second London outpost following the success of its Soho flagship. Officially opening its doors on February 14th, it will serve an exclusive Valentine’s Day set menu to mark both the extra special occasion and the awaited opening in style, with 4 courses and a glass of champagne for just £99 per couple.
Nestled on Blenheim Crescent, right beside the iconic Notting Hill Bookshop, ZIMA Notting Hill will bring with it its signature flavours of warm hospitality, contemporary twists, and traditional flavours to this vibrant neighbourhood.
ZIMA’s exclusive four-course Valentine’s menu has been designed to showcase the restaurant’s modern take on classic Eastern European dishes. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne before indulging in a set selection of innovative dishes, including a glazed carrot amuse-bouche, creamy celeriac soup with luxurious Siberian Ossetra caviar, and a choice between slow-roasted duck breast with morel mushroom foam or Cornish cod fillet with pearl barley and leek salad. The meal finishes with a rich raspberry meringue dessert, served with a unique homemade beetroot ice cream and lime gremolata for a memorable note to end with night with.
At its core, ZIMA is dedicated to reinterpreting traditional Eastern European and Russian cuisine with a contemporary touch. Its dishes, including signature black pelmeni with salmon and cod, rich beef stroganoff, and indulgent layered honey cake, highlight the best of regional flavours while embracing modern techniques to excite the modern palette.
Alongside its food offering, ZIMA is also renowned for its in-house nastoyka infusions, which bring an extra dimension to both its cocktails and cuisine. Meanwhile, its Soho location hides the ZIMA Bar & Karaoke beneath it, a lively underground venue known for its handcrafted vodka infusions and weekend Russian karaoke nights.
With its intimate 45-seat setting, ZIMA Notting Hill is set to become a popular hotspot for those seeking an authentic but fresh take on Eastern European dining, and those in the lookout for unique menu options in a city saturated with options for foodies.
ZIMA Notting Hill opens on 14th February 2025. You can find it at 9 Blenheim Crescent, W11 2EE, and can view the menus and book your table online right here.
