Fans of Japanese fast-casual dining are in for a treat as YO! Sushi has officially reopened its Stratford restaurant following a major refurbishment — and it’s celebrating with a £5 katsu curry deal for one week only.
Located inside Westfield Stratford City, the revamped restaurant reopened on 1 May with a bold new design inspired by the vibrant energy of Tokyo nightlife.
YO! Stratford Gets a Stylish New Makeover
The refreshed restaurant brings together sleek neon lighting, upgraded interiors and the brand’s signature conveyor belt dining experience. The transformation is part of YO!’s wider UK redesign strategy, following recent refurbishments in Manchester and Aberdeen.
Since launching in Soho back in 1997, YO! has become one of the UK’s most recognisable Japanese dining brands, known for making sushi and Japanese street food more accessible to British diners.
The Stratford reopening marks one of the company’s biggest refurbishments yet, giving shoppers and food lovers a more modern and immersive dining experience in one of London’s busiest retail destinations.
£5 Katsu Curry Deal Available This Week
To celebrate the reopening, YO! Stratford is offering guests selected £5 katsu curry dishes from 11 May until 15 May.
The limited-time promotion is expected to draw crowds to the newly reopened venue, especially among visitors heading to Westfield Stratford City for shopping, cinema trips and weekend meetups.
Lauren Crozier, Marketing Director at YO!, said:
“A reopening calls for something big, so we’ve kicked things off with a week of freebies, and a run of £5 dishes. Stratford’s new look is all about making the YO! experience even better for the people who visit us everyday.”
New Menu Items and Fan Favourites Return
Alongside returning favourites like the popular Thursday Bottomless Belt and kiddo bento boxes, guests can also try new additions from the updated menu.
One standout launch is the limited-edition KITKAT x YO! Cream Puff dessert, combining fluffy pastry with a rich chocolate filling inspired by the iconic sweet brand.
The updated menu reflects the restaurant’s continued push into playful Japanese-inspired dishes and grab-and-go dining experiences.
London’s Love Affair With Japanese Dining Continues
The reopening comes as Japanese cuisine continues to grow in popularity across London, with conveyor belt sushi restaurants, ramen bars and Japanese street food concepts thriving throughout the capital.
For diners exploring Stratford, YO!’s relaunch adds another exciting food destination to the ever-expanding dining scene around East London.
You can book a table or explore the latest menu via the official YO! website.
