Fans of animated sci-fi are in for a treat as Maurice LaMarche has officially been announced as a special guest for MCM Comic Con London 2026, taking place from 22–24 May at ExCeL London.
Best known for his iconic roles in Futurama, the legendary voice actor will appear across all three days of the convention, offering fans the chance to attend autograph sessions, purchase professional photo opportunities, and see him live on stage during one of the weekend’s most anticipated panels.

Futurama Voice Legend Heads to London
Created by Matt Groening in 1999, Futurama quickly became one of the most beloved animated series of all time, following the chaotic adventures of the Planet Express crew through a futuristic galaxy packed with satire, aliens and absurd humour.
Maurice LaMarche brought several unforgettable characters to life throughout the series, including the endlessly pessimistic alien newsreader Morbo, melodramatic robot actor Calculon and Kif Kroker, the long-suffering assistant to fan-favourite space captain Zapp Brannigan.
Outside of Futurama, LaMarche’s voice acting résumé spans decades of animated classics and blockbuster films, with credits including Space Jam, Frozen, Zootopia and Wreck-It Ralph.
Twisted Toonz Panel Set for Friday
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend will be the hugely popular Twisted Toonz panel, taking place on Friday at 3PM on the Main Stage.
LaMarche will join fellow voice acting stars including Dee Bradley Baker, David Hayter and Rob Paulsen for the live event, which is free to attend for Friday, Weekend and VIP ticket holders.
The panel is expected to draw major crowds, particularly among animation and gaming fans eager to see some of the industry’s most recognisable voices performing live.

What to Expect at MCM Comic Con
Known as one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of geek culture, MCM Comic Con London 2026 brings together fans of anime, gaming, comics, cosplay, movies and television for a packed weekend of entertainment.
Visitors can expect celebrity panels, cosplay competitions, exclusive previews, artist alleys, gaming experiences, book signings and live performances across the three-day event.
The convention will also return later in the year for its October London edition, alongside a Birmingham event at the NEC.
