What to drink now: Nice wines

NICE make great tasting wine from wineries they love. The female-led team is innovating with formats, making wine more inclusive and less intimidating, and bringing a fresh outlook to the industry.

Whether you’re after a perfectly portioned canned wine for the train, a boxed wine for picnicking season or as a Mother’s Day Gift, or perhaps you’re after a low ABV wine when you’re in for a session, they make it for whenever you want it. NICE is currently launching their first Sparkling Wine into Sainsbury’s stores in 200ml cans, the dry, crisp and sparkly vegan white wine, a Spanish Airén from La Mancha, Spain, stands at an easy drinking 10% ABV (from £2.50).

●      NEW NICE Session Sauvignon Blanc (3.4% ABV)

o   Made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this is Session Wine is dry, crisp, fresh with a little wink of tropical citrus

●      NEW NICE Session Merlot (3.4% ABV)

o   Made with Merlot grapes this Session Wine is juicy, fruity, and smooth with a little flash of spice

●      NICE Sparkling White Wine (10% ABV)

o   Dry, Crisp and Sparkly: a Spanish Airén from La Mancha, Spain, with extra party appeal

●      NICE Sauvignon Blanc (11.5% ABV)

o   Dry, crisp, with a wink of peach: a classic French white from the Cotes de Gascogne region

●      NICE Pale Rosé (11% ABV)

o   A crisp, dry and proudly pale rosé from South of France, just outside Montpellier

●      NICE Malbec (13.5% ABV)

o   Juicy, darkly fruity and wicked depth, his medium bodied wine hails from Argentina in the foothills of the Andes

●      NICE Merlot (13.5% ABV)

o   Juicy, darkly fruity and as smooth as your best one-liner. This french Merlot will charm your friends given half a sip

 

NICE Sessions – Available from NICE direct

2024 sees NICE launch their first ever, lower ABV Session Wine, available exclusively from the NICE website and to the on trade in 75cl bottles. NICE Session Wine has been created to offer consumers the choice to moderate more easily. Beer drinkers are familiar with session lagers and IPAs, now, thanks to Future Wine Company NICE, wine is now Sessionable too. The 3.4% ABV NICE Session Sauvignon Blanc and NICE Session Merlot means that if you fancy three glasses of wine, you’ll have imbibed the strength of just one glass of wine. Launched in June 2023 to the on trade Sainsbury’s this Autumn, NICE’s new Sparkling White Wine (RRP £2.50 per 200ml can) is dry, crisp and sparkly vegan and it’s an easy drinking 10% ABV.
