Friday 28th February will welcome The Greek Carnival, the first of the brand new monthly celebration of food, drink, and Greek entertainment, set to delight guests as they dine.
Extravagance is the theme, evoking the decadent spirit of the Olympian gods an immersive evening of Greek-inspired revelry. Guests will be transported to a Hellenic paradise without leaving the boundaries of London, as Greek goddess-themed dancers weave between tables while a live band provides the soundtrack to the night. Beyond the spectacle, HERA’s carefully curated menu takes diners on an odyssey of flavour, blending seasonal ingredients with the bold, sun-drenched essence of Greece. Starters such as Crispy Fried Courgette with tzatziki yogurt, Roasted Beetroots with manouri soft cheese, and the already-iconic Feta Saganaki (feta cheese wrapped in delicate angel hair and drizzled with lemon honey) offer a fresh yet indulgent touch to the meal. The journey continues with a Mediterranean selection, including a rich and comforting Moussaka layered with aubergine, potato, mushroom ragu, and béchamel, alongside seafood delights like the Orzo Pasta with calamari, prawns, clams, and a fragrant tomato sauce.
HERA, named after the Greek Goddess herself, is nestled in the heart of Stratford Cross, and has become a key part of East London’s dynamic new cultural and dining hub.
