TWITCH OPENS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO AFFILIATES WORLDWIDE!

Twitch Affiliates can now access brand sponsorships directly through the platform, opening up new opportunities for smaller streamers to work with major brands and earn from sponsored content.

Twitch is expanding its creator monetisation strategy by making sponsorship opportunities available to Affiliates globally, giving more streamers the chance to connect with brands, manage campaigns and get paid directly through Twitch.

Previously, Twitch sponsorships were primarily available to Partners, with only selected campaigns offering opportunities to Affiliates. The platform says recent campaigns, including its Minecraft “Tiny Takeover” and “More Minecraft, More Challenges” activations, demonstrated strong demand for Affiliate creators, with more than half of participating paid streamers in those campaigns being Affiliates.

The move follows Twitch’s broader push to make creator sponsorships accessible to streamers of different sizes. At TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026, Twitch revealed that participation in Creator Sponsorships had already tripled compared with 2025.

Twitch Affiliates Can Now Work Directly With Brands

Under the new system, brands can invite eligible Affiliates to sponsorship opportunities through Twitch’s Sponsorship Dashboard.

The integrated workflow is designed to allow creators to discover campaigns, accept opportunities, complete campaign requirements and manage their sponsorships from one central location.

For Affiliate streamers, this could provide another potential revenue stream alongside existing Twitch monetisation features.

Twitch has increasingly expanded the tools available to creators, including additional monetisation features and creator-focused opportunities.

How Twitch Affiliates Can Get Started

Affiliates interested in accessing sponsorship opportunities need to accept the terms in the Twitch Sponsorship Portal and complete Twitch’s Creator Sponsorship Certification.

Certification is a requirement for Affiliates looking to become eligible for sponsorship opportunities, with Twitch notifying creators when campaigns matching their profiles become available.

Wehype Partnership Brings More Brand Opportunities

Twitch is also partnering with Wehype, a global creator marketing platform specialising in brand partnerships, to bring additional sponsorship offers directly into creators’ dashboards.

Through the Third Party Campaigns section, eligible creators can discover opportunities from brands using Wehype.

One of the first opportunities launching through the partnership is a campaign from EA for Battlefield, giving eligible creators another route into brand collaborations beyond Twitch’s own campaigns.

Creator Profiles Get New Sponsorship Features

Twitch is also giving creators more ways to showcase themselves to potential brand partners through Creator Profile.

The feature allows streamers to provide information about their channel, content and sponsorship interests, helping brands understand whether a creator is a suitable fit for a campaign.

Creators can now also customise the clips displayed in their Sponsorship Highlights, giving brands a better look at previous sponsored content and the type of campaigns they can deliver.

Twitch says creators with completed profiles can improve their chances of being discovered for sponsorship opportunities through the platform.

Creators can update their profile through the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard, while further information is available through the Twitch Help Centre.

Creator Sponsorship Certification Could Help Streamers Stand Out

For Affiliates looking to make the most of the new opportunities, Twitch has introduced a dedicated Creator Sponsorship Certification course through Twitch Creator Camp.

The self-paced course covers how sponsorships work on Twitch, how creators can maximise campaigns and how to deliver effective results for brand partners.

Once completed, creators receive “Certified Creator” status on their Creator Profile, allowing brands to see that they have completed Twitch’s sponsorship education programme.

The certification is particularly important for Affiliates, who must complete it before becoming eligible for sponsorship opportunities.

More Sponsorship Opportunities Coming to Twitch

The expansion represents another step in Twitch’s effort to make commercial opportunities available beyond its largest creators.

At TwitchCon Rotterdam, the company confirmed that Bounty Board campaigns are being integrated into Creator Sponsorships through Open Invite campaigns, making these opportunities available to both Partners and Affiliates. Twitch also highlighted the scale of recent creator campaigns, including a Minecraft activation involving more than 6,000 streamers, with over half being Affiliates.

The platform has previously said it wants to expand sponsorship access across its creator community, with sponsorship offers being rolled out to monetising streamers including Affiliates.

For smaller Twitch channels, the latest update could provide a significant new route into professional brand partnerships without having to rely solely on finding sponsorships independently.

How to Access Twitch Sponsorships

Eligible Affiliates can get started by:

Accepting the terms: Visit the Twitch Sponsorship Portal.

Completing certification: Take the Creator Sponsorship Certification course through Twitch Creator Camp.

Updating your Creator Profile: Add information about your channel, audience and sponsorship interests, and select clips for your Sponsorship Highlights.

Once set up, Twitch says creators will receive an email and notification when relevant sponsorship opportunities become available.
