Cali-Mexican favourite Tortilla turned up the temperature last Wednesday as it transformed its London Wall location into a full “winter warmer” creative hub. The event marked the launch of the brand’s brand-new Winter Edit—a bold, flavour-packed menu created to help the UK cosy up through December and January.
Moving away from the predictable turkey-and-stuffing season, Tortilla’s winter campaign champions “cosying up with flavour,” blending the brand’s West Coast heritage with London’s rising fashion, music, and creative scenes. The launch night mixed food, street style, and culture into one vibrant celebration that perfectly encapsulated what Tortilla does best.
A First Taste of Tortilla’s Winter Edit
Guests were treated to the full lineup from the newly released winter menu, now available nationwide for dine-in or delivery. The limited-time dishes bring warmth, spice and indulgence—ideal for surviving the British cold:
-
BBQ Adobo Chicken – A smoky, sweet protein packed with depth.
-
Thiccc Sauce Chilli Cacao Mayo – A creamy, tingly sauce with a subtle chocolate twist.
-
Fermented Purple Carrots – Bright, sharp and crunchy, perfect for tacos or burritos.
-
Dulce de Leche & Banana Quesadilla – A decadent dessert toasted to perfection.
-
Spiced Apple Margarita – A wintery spin on Tortilla’s classic cocktail.

Streetwear Meets Street Food: Ruby Loot x Tortilla
For the launch, Tortilla teamed up with rising fashion label Ruby Loot, founded by designer Georgia Buchanan. The collaboration produced an exclusive run of slogan T-shirts created especially for the event. Guests were gifted the limited-edition tees, blending Tortilla’s playful personality with Ruby Loot’s distinct graphic style.

The Creative Takeover
The transformation of the London Wall site was led by creative studio Nobody’s Café, who curated a warm, colourful winter setting layered with Tortilla’s signature Cali-Mex spice. The atmosphere was lifted even further by high-energy DJ sets from Clara Rosa and The Flag Twins, who played from behind the Tortilla counter, turning the service space into a makeshift DJ booth.

More Than a Menu Launch
Tortilla didn’t stop at food and music. The event doubled as a cultural playground, with:
-
Cosy corners for chess and card games
-
A full photobooth setup
-
A pop-up tattoo station by local studio OneByOne, offering Tortilla-inspired mini tattoos
