The Backstreet Boys are officially heading back to where it all began. The legendary chart-topping group has announced a six-night residency at Merkur Spiel Arena in Düsseldorf, kicking off 25 September 2026. Titled “Into The Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Germany,” these shows will be the only European dates the group performs in 2026 — and a monumental return to the country that first catapulted them to global fame.
A True Homecoming
Before the Backstreet Boys became one of the biggest bands on the planet, Germany was the first place to embrace them wholeheartedly. The country awarded BSB their first platinum record for “I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” and was the backdrop for their earliest tours, studio sessions, and fan-packed appearances.
Brian Littrell says the residency genuinely feels like a return to their roots:
“When we talk about this being a homecoming, it’s because Germany is where everything clicked for us. It’s where our dream stopped being hypothetical and became something real.”
The upcoming residency celebrates 30 years since the Backstreet Boys first called Germany a second home.
Following a Record-Breaking Las Vegas Run
The announcement follows the group’s massively successful “Into The Millennium” Sphere residency in Las Vegas, which sold out over 20 shows. Critics were quick to praise the performances:
