We’re incredibly excited to announce that TikTok is returning to The Great Escape! This year, partnering with SoundOn, we will be bringing some of the best new artists to the UK’s most important festival for new music in Brighton.
The Great Escape festival has revealed Rain Radio, Mae Stephens, No Guidnce & ENNY as the line-up of viral sensations for the highly coveted showcase presented by TikTok & SoundOn. TikTok sensation Mae Stephens, fast-rising R&B vocal group No Guidnce, the secret dance music collective Rain Radio & vibrant British rhymer ENNY will all perform at Patterns on Thursday, May 11th. Doors open at 7pm with tickets available now at www.greatescapefestival.com.
Alongside the showcase, there will also be best practice sessions hosted at Patterns with presentations on Thursday 11 & Friday 12 from TikTok’s Artist Services team providing tips and insight to all artists to get the most out of the platform.
ENNY
Performing at Patterns will be rapper, singer and songwriter, ENNY, who broke onto the music scene with her 2020 hit single ‘Peng Black Girls’ featuring Amia Brave, before going on to release a remix version with R&B singer, Jorja Smith. The song also led to a hashtag challenge on TikTok, #pengblackgirlschallenge, which saw various black girls share their art and hairstyles with the community. Known for her powerful flow and leader of the new school pack, ENNY is unstoppable. The rapper has taken to TikTok to showcase her performances and share snippets of her latest singles, including ‘Charge It‘ and ‘No More Naija Men‘.
@itsennyintegrity On a random afternoon in October searching YouTube I found this beat. And once I heard it I had to have it and once I had it, I knew I found what I felt the project was missing. Thank you tk the team as always ????????#enny #chargeit #project
Rain Radio
Opening and closing proceedings at The Great Escape will be Rain Radio, the white label project who exploded in popularity on TikTok last year with their hit ‘Talk About’, a viral smash that has been viewed more than 27 million times on the platform. The mysterious collective’s latest song ‘I See Colors‘, a collaboration with Disco Lines released through SoundOn, was recently unveiled as the official soundtrack of Aston Martin’s AMR23 and could be heard beating around the team’s all-new purpose-built factory. One of dance music’s most mysterious figures, Rain Radio has the scene talking and will be sure to have Patterns jumping at the showcase.

Mae Stephens
Performing at the showcase will be fast-rising TikTok sensation Mae Stephens who, earlier this year, off the back of viral smash ‘If We Ever Broke Up‘, was able to leave her day job and sign with EMI Records. In August 2022, she teased a snippet of the song on TikTok and then later posted the demo in December. Creators jumped on the sound, using these snippets to soundtrack their icks and relationship quirks and, since the song’s official release, these trends have continued with the song hitting 395.8K creations, steadily climbing the UK Official Charts.

They were named the UK’s sixth most viewed artist on TikTok in 2022, now with more than 2.6 million followers who love the group’s brilliant vocals and soulful ballads. Leading a new generation of R&B boy bands, No Guidnce have been bringing their old school harmonies with original tracks like ‘Lie to Me‘ and ‘Committed‘, while also sharing heart-wrenching acapella and acoustic renditions of some of the most loved R&B songs on TikTok. No Guidnce will be performing some tracks for their debut EP, set for release in May.
