What to Wear now: THE NORTH FACE MORE THAN A JACKET

Introducing Stitched In Stories by The North Face. An initiative honouring and celebrating the memories and stories of adventure created over the brand’s more than 55-year history. Part of the brand’s #MoreThanAJacket campaign, The North Face offered people the chance to have a personalised patch stitched onto their The North Face jackets. The first fifty people to visit London’s Regent Street, Berlin Mitte and Hamburg stores were able to drop off their North Face apparel to have special custom-made patches stitched in by professionals. These patches will tell the different stories of the journeys and adventures made whilst wearing each garment.

From the Himalayan Parka to the Denali Fleece, no matter how old or new, this is an opportunity for everyone to make a literal stamp on The North Face’s legacy and update your much-loved icons with your very own custom patch. Tell your story and The North Face will write it.

Verge CEO Andre Dixon was one of the lucky few to be invited to come to the London store to drop off his The North Face fleece and share his experiences. The item was then sent to expert embroiders, where a bespoke patch was created and hand-stitched into the apparel. Four weeks later, Andre returned to store to pick up his revamped fleece and take part in an in-house photoshoot, showcasing his unique patch and celebrating his stories.

Not only is this an initiative made to celebrate The North Face community, but to also highlight a dedication to sustainability by breathing new life into timeless apparel.
