Calling all Christmas shoppers! Whilst you are doing your West End shopping, don’t just visit the big chains – if you are looking to support small businesses, gift sustainably and thoughtfully please visit contemporary wellness brand Lab Tonica’s pop-up shop at 88 Regent Street: a concept store, launched by Westminster City Council and The Crown Estate, showcasing a curated collection of the must-have sustainable products from some of the UK’s most innovative small businesses.
Lab Tonica is a new contemporary wellness brand, bringing the power of plants to an urban audience in the West End. The Regent Street store is a flagship showcase of the five core collections – Unplugged, Breathe, POW, Fend and Saucy – where you can sample the organic herbal teas, indulge in the aromatherapy bams and mists and even join in herbal workshops with founder, Kitty McEntee. In store you will also find limited edition products like magical Lucid Dream Drops, hand-made utility aprons and signature foraging baskets.
“The face of retail in London has changed dramatically, especially over the past 12 months, and supporting small businesses this Christmas is more important than ever. At Lab Tonica, we want people to give the gift of herbal wellness to their family and friends, whilst also shopping sustainably. Whether it is help with sleep, an immunity boost or a shot of energy – we have a tea, balm and mist for every wellbeing need – and there really is something for everyone this festive season”.
– Kitty Mcentee, Founder of Lab Tonica
Lab Tonica offers curated and considered gift sets for your loved ones this Christmas, like the gift of better sleep with the Unplugged range, to help you sleep eazzzy, or relax and unwind with Breathe, the collection to help keep calm, especially throughout the madness of Christmas. Boost your loved one’s immune system with Fend, a collection of teas and herbal balms with immunity-boosting properties, opt for energy boosting Pow, or gift a special someone Saucy, the ultimate natural libido-booster.
In the lead up to Christmas the former iconic menswear store, Moss Bros, has been transformed through an innovative new initiative from Westminster City Council and The Crown Estate, into a pop-up shop which champions sustainability. Lab Tonica shares the space with four other independent fashion brands – Saywood ,LR.D, and 4649.REC and Petit Pli – who all offer unique and contemporary products on one of the most famous shopping streets in the world. The leasing of the site of the former high street giant highlights how the face of retail has changed as a result of the pandemic, with consumers turning increasingly towards smaller, independent brands.
The store is open every day up until 24th December.
