The Botanist Revives ‘Summer in Sloane Square’ with Customisable Cocktails

The Botanist Sloane Square has partnered yet again with The Botanist Gin to bring back Chelsea’s ultimate summer drinks pop-up, Summer in Sloane Square. The acclaimed bar and restaurant will serve up alfresco dining and a drinking terrace which will feature a new infusion table, allowing guests to curate bespoke cocktails.

From May to September 2024, The Botanist Sloane Square is showcasing a fresh menu of cocktails, created with an infusion table. Drawing inspiration from The Botanist Gin’s unique crafting process, this table allows guests to personalise the strength and botanical flavours of their drinks, as well as experiment with their own creative cocktail concoctions.

The Botanist Gin, made from 22 hand-picked botanicals foraged on the Isle of Islay in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides, offers a beautifully balanced and intricate flavour profile for its spirits. Guests can mix their desired levels of sweetness, earthiness, and herbal notes to perfect their summer creations.

‘Summer in Sloane Square’ accommodates up to 160 guests, offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s chaos while whisking visitors away to the charming island of Islay. The Botanist Sloane Square also cooks up a Mediterranean-inspired menu to indulge in, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of cocktails, mocktails, beers, ciders, and wines.

The limited edition menu features three signature infusion cocktails. The Botanist Gimlet combines The Botanist Gin with lime, elderflower cordial, cucumber, and mint for a refreshing blend. The Haar Negroni brings a rich twist with The Botanist Gin, Carpano bitter infused with dark chocolate, coffee, Antica Formula, cinnamon, and orange, while Island Spring offers a revitalizing mix of The Botanist Gin, Belle de Brillet pear liqueur, lemon honey, strawberry, mint, and prosecco. These cocktails are available at £15 for one, or £29 for a 2-people sharing drink.

Of course, no al-fresco experience is complete without a steady flow of delicious snacks and dishes. The pop-up will be serving bar snacks such as Nocellara Olives and Focaccia, alongside a tempting selection of pizzas and sharing platters, including the Insalata which brings the flavours of the Mediterranean out with Chicory, rocket, orange, smoked almonds, Provençal olives, balsamic di Modena, and arbequina olive oil.

You can visit Summer in Sloane Square from now until the end of September, between 12:00 and 23:00. Find out more about the pop-up and make your reservation here.
