Sticks’n’Sushi, the beloved Danish-Japanese fusion restaurant, is bringing its distinctive blend of creative sushi and grilled skewers to Battersea Power Station. Known for offering something for everyone – even those who aren’t fans of fish – this new riverside location, opening on 30th November, is set to become a go-to spot for foodie locals, curious tourists, and hungry shoppers alike.
Following its success across the UK, Sticks’n’Sushi is set to open its 15th location in Battersea Power Station, marking its 30th restaurant globally. This exciting new addition will feature a menu brimming with both favourites and new innovative options, from fresh sushi and sashimi to flavour-packed tartares, grilled skewers, and generous set menus available for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery, designed to cater to all tastes and budgets.
The new dishes on the menu are set to delight fans, and will sit alongside signature favourites such as the popular Momo Nanban (fried chicken thigh, sweet and sour dashi marinade, Japanese mayonnaise, onion & daikon cress), and Black Cod house roll (miso-marinated black cod with vegetable chips & pickled red onion). The new Temaki Setto invites diners to craft their own open rolls with premium ingredients including wagyu tartare, kataifi, cress, soya sesame, avocado, sake-tamari marinated trout roe, snow crab, and yuzu, all accompanied by sushi rice and crispy nori.
The Battersea Power Station location showcases interiors designed by the acclaimed OEO Studio from Copenhagen, renowned for their work with Noma-Kyoto. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of the Power Station, the design blends heritage elements with a contemporary, playful twist. The open-plan space includes a dining room, kitchen counter, lounge, bar, and outdoor terrace, all creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere that embodies the Japanese spirit of ‘Omotenashi’—the art of providing wholehearted, attentive service to every guest.
Sticks’n’Sushi can be found on the Upper Ground Floor at 6 Electric Boulevard, Battersea SW11 8BJ, and will be available for bookings and walk-ins from 30th November.
