Hailey Bieber’s Sweet-as-Sin Cinnamilk Latte
Hailey Bieber, the American model-turned-entrepreneur, is a notorious fan of cinnamon. Her recipe for the Bieber family’s favourite cinnamon buns (or Bieber Buns, as they’re now known) took the social media by storm, and even inspired Hailey to launch the limited-edition “Cinnamon Roll” lip tint. Her love for cinnamon doesn’t stop there: teaming up with the Los Angeles-based café called Community Goods, the fashionista has created her own signature Cinnamilk Latte. Not heading to LA anytime soon? No worries: your home kitchen will work just as well!
You’ll need:
- 1 shot espresso
- 1 tbsp. chai powder (or a bag of chai tea)
- 1 tbsp. condensed milk
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- A sprinkle of cinnamon (or a cinnamon stick)
Steps:
- Mix the chai powder with a dash of hot water (or pour a dash of hot water over a bag of chai tea, then leave to infuse).
- Pour the espresso into the chai.
- Add the condensed milk, then mix well.
- Froth the milk using your preferred method, then pour it over the mixture.
- Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a cinnamon stick.
Emma Chamberlain’s OG Iced Cold Brew
The influencer, podcaster, and businesswoman Emma Chamberlain can’t go a day without a cup of joe. Nor does she want to: coffee’s so much a part of her routine that she’s made it part of her brand too by launching a coffee company called Chamberlain Coffee. In addition to coffee beans and matcha, Chamberlain Coffee sells single-use cold brew coffee bags inspired by Emma’s viral coffee recipe. You can craft a refreshing, Chamberlain-inspired brew using regular coffee too though—and you won’t even need your espresso machine for this one!
You’ll need:
- 1 cup freshly ground coffee beans
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Milk of choice
- A dash of syrup or vanilla extract (optional)
Steps:
- Pour the ground coffee and water into an appropriately sized container (Emma uses a mason jar, but something like a French press works just as well), then stir gently.
- Cover and refrigerate for 12–24 hours.
- Strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or cloth (or simply push down the plunger if using a French press).
- Fill a glass with ice cubes, then add your cold brew concentrate, leaving room for milk.
- Add milk, then sweeten with a dash of syrup or vanilla extract if desired.
Pedro Pascal’s Shockingly Strong 6-Shot Iced Espresso
The Chilean-born American actor Pedro Pascal has captivated audiences with his roles in shows like Game of Thrones and The Last of Us. A few years ago, however, it was his coffee order that stunned the public. Here’s the story: Pascal was photographed giving out autographs while clutching a massive cup of Starbucks coffee in his hand. Fans couldn’t resist zooming in to find out what their favourite was sipping on, and the answer sent shock waves across the community. The cup contained plenty of ice cubes, plus a whopping 6 shots of espresso! That’s around 450 mg of caffeine—just a tad over the daily recommended limit of 400 mg.
Keen on recreating the drink the Internet now calls “the Pedro Pascal”? Easy: brew six shots of espresso, fill a large cup with ice, then pour the espressos over it. Consume at your own risk though—we’re not sure we’d recommend it…
Jennifer Aniston’s Age-Hacking Collagen Coffee
The beloved actress Jennifer Aniston is known for her age-defying beauty—and, as it turns out, her daily cup of joe may have something to do with it. There’s an unusual ingredient that goes into her morning coffee: a scoop of collagen powder. What’s collagen, you wonder? It’s a naturally occurring compound responsible for maintaining the skin’s elasticity, joint and bone health, as well as strong hair and nails. The catch is that, as we age, collagen becomes harder for our bodies to produce, which is why collagen supplements offer considerable benefits for those who have left their teenage years behind. Want to age—or rather not age—like Jennifer Aniston? Whip up some collagen-infused coffee!
You’ll need:
- 1 large shot espresso
- 1/3 cup milk of choice, frothed or heated
- 1 tsp. preferred sweetener
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- A dash of cinnamon
Steps:
- Pour the espresso and milk into a mug.
- Add the sweetener, a scoop of collagen powder and some cinnamon, then mix well.
