Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has announced it will be bringing its renowned authentic Neapolitan pizzas south of the river, to Clapham Common, next month. To celebrate, Londoners will be able to claim one of 3,000 pizzas on-the-house at this LINK in celebration of the opening.
Adding to Rudy’s growing roster of popular London-based Neapolitan pizzerias in Soho, Shoreditch, Queensway, Tottenham Court Road, Westfield, and Spitalfields, this new opening will now offer South West London the opportunity to enjoy Rudy’s authentic Neapolitan pizza, fan-favourite dips, and impressive drinks list of classic Italian tipples.
Located just a stone’s throw from the thriving Clapham Common and bustling high street, the new pizzeria will be an intimate spot, with a quaint street-side dining space; perfect for embracing Neapolitan aperitivo culture in the heart of Clapham, just in time for the upcoming summer months! Those who sign up here will have the chance to claim one of 3,000 pizzas available on-the-house once the restaurant opens next month.
Born out of passion for authentic pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, renowned for its consistency and quality. The relaxed yet atmospheric dining concept will serve classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza – alongside paying homage to famous pizzerias around the globe with rotating specials collaborations. Previous iconic collaborations include the likes of Napoli on the Road, Chris Bianco, and New York City’s famed Una Pizza Napoletana.
Rudy’s dough is made fresh each day by their in-house pizzaioli, using Caputo ’00’ flour, and is proved for 24 hours, before being topped with the highest-quality ingredients from Naples. This includes San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, and traditional fior di latte mozzarella.
Staying true to the traditions of Naples, each pizza is cooked for around 60 seconds at 430°C – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised ‘cornicione’ crust.
Further honouring its Neapolitan roots, the new Rudy’s in Clapham will host a well-stocked bar serving iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian Poretti lager, their own speciality Orancello and classic stirred-cocktails – think Negronis and Limoncello Spritz’.
Commenting on the new opening, Neal Bates of Rudy’s Pizza, said:

Clapham is such a thriving residential hub, filled with food and drink lovers, so we’re thrilled to be joining the lively F&B scene. With 3,000 pizzas available on us, we’re delighted to open with a bang and be offering a true authentic Neapolitan experience in the heart of South West London.”
