East London’s iconic Rinkoff’s Bakery has partnered with independent music festival Appetite On The Farm to launch a special limited-edition doughnut this August, with proceeds helping support a Ukrainian initiative that uses music to aid veterans and people displaced by war.
The collaboration brings together two organisations with strong community roots. Rinkoff’s, founded in 1911 by Ukrainian immigrant Hyman Rinkoff, has been serving East London for more than a century using family recipes passed down through generations, while Appetite On The Farm celebrates its fifth anniversary as one of the South East’s fastest-growing electronic music festivals.
A Doughnut Inspired by Appetite On The Farm
The exclusive doughnut has been created using one of Rinkoff’s century-old family recipes and is inspired by Appetite On The Farm’s signature pink doughnut logo. Finished with vibrant pink icing and colourful sprinkles, it will be available throughout August at Rinkoff’s bakery locations in Whitechapel and Mile End.
For every limited-edition doughnut sold, 50p will be donated to Enter DJ, a Ukrainian organisation using electronic music and DJ education to improve wellbeing for veterans, soldiers, refugees and others affected by the ongoing conflict.
Supporting Healing Through Music
Alongside the doughnut launch, Rinkoff’s Bakery and Appetite On The Farm have also launched a GoFundMe campaign, giving people another way to support Enter DJ’s work in Ukraine.
The initiative provides both online and in-person DJ training programmes in cities including Kyiv and Lviv, helping participants use music as a form of creative expression, education and emotional recovery.
Appetite On The Farm co-founder Elliot Schooling said the collaboration had been something the festival team had wanted to do for some time.
“We’ve always wanted to collab with a bakery and with Appetite On The Farm celebrating its fifth anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better time. Rinkoff’s is a proper East End institution; we loved its history right away and we’re also super excited to be able to work with Enter DJ as well; the work they’re doing in Ukraine is amazing.”
Jennifer Rinkoff, Head of NPD at Rinkoff’s Bakery, added:
“We’re excited to team up with Appetite On The Farm on a special doughnut that brings their logo to life and supports a cause close to our heritage.”
Appetite On The Farm Returns This August
The doughnut launch comes ahead of Appetite On The Farm 2026, which returns to Kelvedon Hall, Essex, on 29–30 August.
The festival’s fifth edition will feature performances from leading electronic artists including Jamie Jones, Skream, Eliza Rose, Todd Edwards, Traumer and Dyed Soundorom, alongside dozens of other DJs across multiple stages.
Rinkoff’s Celebrates More Than 100 Years of Baking
The collaboration also coincides with the release of The Jewish Bakery, Rinkoff’s debut cookbook, which celebrates over a century of family recipes and baking traditions.
Today, the fourth-generation bakery remains one of East London’s best-known independent bakeries, famous for its handmade breads, pastries, doughnuts and the hugely popular Crodough.
