Landing nationwide from Tuesday 24th March, the new collection blends sweet, tangy barbecue notes with the brand’s signature “shatter crunchin’” chicken, offering a timely reminder that BBQ season isn’t just for summer.

According to new research from Popeyes, the UK’s appetite for barbecue flavours is already in full swing. Around 66% of Brits plan to fire up the grill before summer officially begins, while 70% say the smell of BBQ instantly boosts their mood.
Even more telling? BBQ sauce has now overtaken ketchup as the nation’s favourite barbecue condiment — signalling a shift toward richer, bolder flavour profiles.

Leading the lineup is the Honey BBQ Sandwich — a crispy 100% fresh chicken breast coated in Popeyes’ iconic crunch, drenched in sweet and smoky Honey BBQ sauce. It’s layered with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, pickled jalapeños, and finished with ranch dressing inside a soft brioche bun.
