RIIZE MAKE HISTORY AT LOLLAPALOOZA LATIN AMERICA AS FIRST MALE K-POP GROUP TO TOUR ARGENTINA, CHILE & BRAZIL

K-pop’s newest global force, RIIZE, have officially cemented their international rise with a historic first Latin American tour — and they did it in style.

The six-member group — SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SOHEE, and ANTON — became the first male K-pop act to perform across all three Latin American editions of Lollapalooza in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.

Their debut in the region marks a major milestone not just for the group, but for K-pop’s continued global expansion.

A Three-City Takeover Across Latin America

RIIZE brought their high-energy performances to three of the continent’s most iconic festival stages:

  • Buenos Aires, Argentina – Hipódromo de San Isidro (14 March)
  • Santiago, Chile – Parque O’Higgins (15 March)
  • São Paulo, Brazil – Autódromo de Interlagos (21 March)

Across each stop, the group delivered a powerful 18-track setlist, featuring standout hits including “Get A Guitar,” “Talk Sexy,” “Siren,” “Impossible,” and “Boom Boom Bass.”

Blending live vocals, sharp choreography, and band-backed arrangements, RIIZE’s performances proved why they’re one of the most talked-about new acts in global pop.

Connecting Across Cultures and Languages

What set RIIZE apart wasn’t just the music — it was their effort to truly connect.

By speaking to fans in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, the group created an intimate, cross-cultural experience that resonated deeply with audiences. The response was immediate, with crowds across all three ქვეყნations delivering electric energy and strong media attention following suit.

In a statement, the group reflected:

“Performing at Lollapalooza in Latin America was an unforgettable experience… we truly felt connected with our fans through our music. We’d love to come back.”

Beyond the Stage: RIIZE Embrace Brazilian Culture

In São Paulo, RIIZE extended their presence beyond the festival stage with a series of cultural moments that amplified their visit.

They appeared on Brazilian talk show The Noite com Danilo Gentili, explored the vibrant street art scene at Beco do Batman, and even participated in a graffiti session at the ZIV Gallery.

Adding to the cultural crossover, the group wore personalised jerseys from Santos FC during their soundcheck — a nod to Brazil’s deep football heritage.

Their arrival was also celebrated with a “Welcome to Brazil, RIIZE” display at Roda Rico, the country’s largest Ferris wheel, highlighting their growing influence far beyond music.

From Tokyo Dome to Global Stages

The Latin American run followed the success of their [RIIZING LOUD] WORLD TOUR IN TOKYO DOME 2026, further proving the group’s ability to command major global stages.

Next up, RIIZE are set to continue their international momentum with appearances at major Asian festivals, including Japan’s The Performance and Thailand’s K2O Songkran Music Festival.

The Rise of RIIZE: K-Pop’s Fastest-Growing New Act

Since debuting in 2023 under SM Entertainment, RIIZE have quickly built a reputation as one of K-pop’s most dynamic rising groups.

Known for their “Emotional Pop” sound — rooted in authenticity and real-time storytelling — the group has already achieved:

  • Multiple million-selling releases, including their latest album ODYSSEY
  • Over 1 million Spotify followers
  • Record-breaking social media growth, becoming the fastest K-pop group to hit 1 million Instagram followers
  • A major fashion partnership as House Ambassadors for Louis Vuitton

Their debut single “Get A Guitar” has also surpassed 100 million streams, underscoring their global appeal.

With a historic Latin American debut now under their belt, RIIZE are no longer just a rising act — they’re a global contender.

As K-pop continues to expand its cultural footprint, RIIZE’s ability to connect across continents, languages, and audiences signals something bigger: a new generation of artists redefining what global pop looks like.
