This April, pizza lovers across the UK have a reason to rejoice as Pizza Pilgrims launches its limited-edition Double Dip crust dipper menu, collaborating with iconic British brands Dishoom, Honest Burgers, Pho, and Sweet Dee’s Jerk. The initiative, dubbed ‘The Great British Crust Comeback’, aims to tackle the nation’s pizza crust wastage while adding a flavour-packed twist to finishing every slice.
A Delicious Solution to Crust Waste
Research suggests that 25% of Brits can’t eat pizza crusts without a dip, and 75% are more likely to finish them when paired with the right sauce. Pizza Pilgrims estimates that up to 47 tonnes of pizza crusts are wasted every year in the UK — roughly the weight of four London buses.

The Double Dip menu brings four unique sauces inspired by each brand’s signature flavours:

Beyond reducing food waste, Pizza Pilgrims is also supporting World Wish Month, a global initiative that grants wishes for critically ill children. Throughout April, the brand will double donations from every dipper sold, helping make even more life-changing wishes come true.
